Hey mate, Great to see some more Thredbo vids from you I love your videos, I’m going to Thredbo in a couple of weeks and I was just wondering what the snow conditions have been like for you.
@@trollertrain7873 it’s been bluebird day pretty much everyday, no wind, but cold enough at night for snowmaking, so been quite nice. I’ve recorded a few videos about Thredbo recently. First few runs are really good, especially first tracks, then at about 11- 12 especially on high noon, gets very chopped up, sheet ice and moguls. So I’d suggest getting first lifts, skiing till lunch then just not bothering in the arvo outside of the park.
Yeah, snow conditions really were bad last year. I’m not kidding, in mid-August in order to clear a 25ft jump, I had to go dead straight, from the top of the park, tucking, on one ski (two skis would be too much friction) just to have a chance of clearing it. But still, fun memories
I purposely went down the beginner sections of the mountain for this video so not shit, there are a billion good pow runs which are pretty secret in bounds and incredible gate skiing across the 4 resorts, Niseko Pow guide youtube will show you
I can agree with Michael’s and Exhibition, but a personal favourite for me is Bushranger. I haven’t skied Golf Course Bowl this decade, but Bushranger is the closest you can get to it. Wide choice of lines, options for extreme features, good pow on the best days and even the catwalk out is fun with the side hits.
Yea ig its good the lap with Snowgums, in my eyes it judt isn’t too steep like Micheal’s and golf course, would be an honourable mention and 6th if I did honourable mentions alongside the bluff def
Unless I am mistaken you have "Ducked a Rope" at the end of the second run? If so that is really stupid, even more stupid to actually publish it. The 'Niseko Rules' exist for a reason. You should talk to the widow of the Backcountry Guide who ducked the same rope and died a couple of years ago to the right of where you were.
your so concerned istg. You can go into superridge and duck the rope anywhere to exit. to enter I promise you I entered through the gate and the camera man stayed on super run. plus all these ramdom guys were going into the pitch black away from the lights and doing the first run.
