Would love to know what equipment you use and how you actually get permission to dig or if there are places that you can go with no permission needed like public parks??
I use the XP Deus 2 metal detector and XP MI6 pinpointer. There’s a full list of equipment in my bio 😊👍🏼 Here in the UK you need permission on all land even public places. There are some beaches you can detect with no permission but you’ll need to check which ones. Knock on farmers doors to gain permissions.
É isso aír companheiro detectorista. Boa caçada! Que Deus abençoa sempre sua vida! Se for possível se escreva no meu canal no RU-vid: Leon detectorismo.
No, I go in between them and when digging I’m sure to not be damaging the roots, as they’re not that established yet the roots are tiny, when they get bigger I won’t be digging there until they are removed.
Nice to come along with you on your dig bud, some decent finds topped off with a bit of silver. I've recently got the deus 2 master, what program are you using also is that the unearthed shovel.
Hi Barry, thank you and thanks for watching 😊 it’s a Minelab spade they I paid £45 new and it’s a brilliant spade. The settings I use are the magnet program and I’ve had very good results with it. It’s nothing special apart from that the discrimination is -6.4 and the tones are tweaked a bit. It’s on Google if you want to search it. 👍🏼
I reckon a standard stereo tie clip mic would be perfect. Get some half inch thick foam and a bit of fur if necessary and form a shape and use some gaffa tape around the edges to make it a snug push on fit. Or gaffa tape it on more securely and levee it attached. The mic is good at giving a natural sound of the environment you're in, and with it being a clip on mic you can easily adjust the balance of distance from your mouth and the tones, or nearer the mouth to reduce background road noise (if your gopro has a manual mic volume control. The tie clip mics are cheap, but reliable and work well. I used this as a mobile set up for a few years prior to zoom digital recorders, for live outdoor acoustic music. I've even used it as a vocal mic, on a harmonica rack through a small amp whilst busking. Good versatile and cheap as chips 😉
Kind Sir, you have GOT to find a mic that muffles the wind from your videos. Too much wind noise to hear/understand you clearly when the wind is blowing. They are relatively cheap. Other than that Love your vide and content.
Hi Brian! Thanks for watching! Yes ive just started the channel and somebody has mentioned the same thing today so im going to invest in a Bluetooth mic with wind protection. I appreciate the feedback, thank you! ☺️
Thanks very much and thanks for watching 😊 I do have wind cancellation on my go pro but it was very windy. I did switch to my iPhone to do a close up of the Philip and Mary and the wind noise is terrible on that. I think I’m going to invest in a Bluetooth wool wrapped mic and see how that performs. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
Hi fella, new sub 🙂 Might that gorgeous Roman at 20:00 be silver, perhaps? It looks to my eyes like a denarius under that black tarnish... I only mention it because my first Roman coin was similar to that but it was coal-black. Only when it went to the FLO did it turn out to be silver. I've electrocuted it since because it's broken and it's an amazing bright silver beneath. It looks mint in my cabinet 👍
Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing these black coloured ones are called Limes Denarius and won’t go silver so please don’t clean! They are supposed to be black. They have a very low silver content 👍🏼
It’s incredible what lies beneath the earth, this is what made us who we are today. It’s an honour to save it from destruction. All the best on your quest 👍🏼
@@DiggerDunnMetalDetecting I just subscribed today after you appeared in the suggesting underneath another vid I was watching. I gotta say, I'm surprised how few subscribers you've got. You're videoing is technique is basic, but good. Not overly complicated for the sake of it, and easy on the eyes and the mind to watch. I'm being a bit of an anorak, I'm a photographer and worked with film, but ease of watching is important 😉 Plus you look like you know what you're doing, have some good interesting finds, and you present well, friendly but not overly, and your enthusiasm comes through, slightly understated, which is quite refreshing. Not that I knock those who are more enthusiastic, but reckon your way comes across well. I look fwd to seeing more. I've only just started, got a 25 acre permission just out of town, Not'm, the village has history going back to BC. Then became an active Roman settlement, and then an interesting medieval history. I've only been the once so far, back there tmro. I didn't cover much ground, was working on getting used to the 2nd hand garret 400i 🙄. I dug some scrap, some of it had some age, but little interest, a musket ball, and a £2 spendable 😕😕 ... it could've been a 2 pence spendable though, so mustn't crumble 😊😂 Anyways, I'll be following along too mate 😉👍
@@martinsanders5418 thanks for the feedback I’m glad I come across ok. I’m quite nervous on camera as it’s something I don’t normally do so to hear I’m doing ok is good enough for me 😁 The channel is new only about 1 year even though I created the account in 2013 so a long way to go yet. I’ve been detecting 20 months now and have some great productive permissions so looking forward to harvest! Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍🏼😊
Hi mate , some dam good finds there my friend well done , hope all is good with you thumbs up from us and of coarse a sub to 👍 , best wishes and good luck ATB Rob & Al 🙋♂🙋♂👌👌
Ahh thank you! 😃 I’m not sure what’s happening the channel is new so I’m assuming RU-vid is controlling a few things. It seems I post a video then all of a sudden I gain a subscriber. Then if I don’t post for a few days I lose one 🤷🏻♂️
