I'm David and I am based in the North West of England where I have my small home workshop, restoring and refinishing Vintage Furniture. I have always loved DIY, crafting, building, fixing and restoring things so I started my business, Mayfield Restorations, where i can follow my passion. My goal is to find old, worn out and unloved pieces of furniture and by either restoring or restyling them, give them a new life for many years to come. I source through, Marketplace, thrift shops and wherever I can find these forgotten pieces of furniture Everything you see me do is self taught and RU-vid has been a large part of this process. My aim for this channel is to pass along what I have learnt and I am still learning.

I don't like painting furniture, but this is lovely. I wish you had shellaced the piece first so if in another 50 years someone wanted to go back to the wood it would be easier. Still, nice job. Glad I found you. From New England, USA.

I love the color and added details!!! The legs go perfect with the updated design, as do the distressed pulls. Gorgeous job, Dasiy was approving every step of the way. So you know you did a fabulous job😊😅😅
I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t like that brown stain and the two tone look. I’d rather have seen it stained the same beautiful color as the drawers imo
