If you are looking for another anime to watch. I have two suggestions. My first suggestion is similar to this one, but less ecchi. It's called Shikimori Is Not Just A Cutie. The second is a slice of life centering around a girl finding friends and some freedom when she buys her first motor scooter. It's name is Super Cub.
The people who can pull off a cross cosplay are the ones I find amazing. The best one I ever saw was a guy cosplaying Shimakaze from Kantai Collection.

To answer your question, yes, a yukata is a bit different from a kimono. A kimono is a high end piece of clothing appropriate for formal events, are often made of silk, and are lined for warmth. Yukatas are more casual, and are typically made from cotton fabric or similar materials, and appropriate for the hot summer months. They're easy to find for sale online. The sash around the waist is called an obi, and is purchased separately.
I think elsewhere it says he's actually 185cm tall, which is nearly 6'1". _Very_ tall for a Japanese man, let alone one who's presumably still growing. The effects animation in this episode was so good! The caustics in the lights reflecting off the pool onto their faces, and then the fireworks - that slow pan around from underneath with the fireworks going behind them is incredibly hard to do in animation. One of the sweetest things about this series is seeing Gojou's world expand, and how much cosplaying goes from Marin's hobby that he helps with to _his_ hobby, too. As for them getting into the hotel, it's kind of a problem with how love hotels are run - they're built to be pretty much anonymous, where you can make reservations, check in, pay, spend your time, and check out, all without seeing an employee or needing a credit card, all intended to make things easy for easily embarrassed people who are probably living with three generations of their family. There are laws about not allowing minors in, but enforcing them runs into the problems that a) the proprietors want the money, and b) they're already largely run by the mob, so there's less incentive for obeying laws in the first place. And then there's the photoshoot and _that_ scene, and - whew. Yeah.
