No. I've just been given some kegs. I've chilled them, decided to drink them in one sitting. I've inserted the pipe and valve, squeezed the beer into a glass. Tastes just fine. I guess it will go flat fairly quickly, but by the time it does my nephew and I will have necked it. Apparently there's a hack with a bike pump. 2 litres will soon disappear in this weather. Don't put the aluminium kegs in recycling. Beer Wolf and similar places pay £5 for returning them when ordering new kegs collected free check websites for details
I really like my sub, the beer is great quality, but it does have an issue with too much frothy head quite regularly, especially when the pump noise comes on…..no matter what you do
Apparently one guy commented saying there’s a screw type thing underneath the unit that controls the amount of froth , I couldn’t find it on mine . I understand you totally.
Question for you bud ...I have connected the tube to the keg but it's got a split in the pipe can I take it off the keg to replace it. I've not put it in the machine yet
Hi James , if you have another keg use the one that’s inside the lid , use a flat object to prise the split one of that keg and replace it. The keg gets fully pressurised once in the machine . Do it outside just in case as i would imagine some pressure will be in the bottle , also be ready to insert the new one . Then enjoy 😉
Hi mate, been watching your videos, really 8nformative, many thanks. Just got a krups beer dispenser for Xmas. The beer from Beowolf seems expensive. Not sure in your area, but there are brew pubs that let you buy beer which you take home in your own containers. I know that you can use used torps as containers if you take the pipe attachment off.....what do you think about refilling used torps this way to reuse for the krups?
Hi Luke thanks for your kind message, I would most definitely refill them , at the end of the day so long as your drinking beer and enjoying it without going overboard is a winner in my book , the only complaint I have is they could do with being larger say 10 pints as they seem to empty far too quickly lol.
Hi Bryan, I had the same issue. I put the torp in the fridge and the label was blue. I then put it in the sub. About 30 mins later I poured it as the light on the sub was green. I had loads of froth. What I did with the second torp was to chill it, put it in the sub and leave it overnight, until the afternoon of the next day. This time the pint was almost no froth. I think the beer had time to settle before pouring because it was in the machine sitting still for hours before pouring. The other thing I did, was to make sure the glass was cold, (from the freezer), and make sure you pull the tap fully forward. Feathering the tap makes the froth worse, not better. I hope all that makes sense.
@@rhydh5014 Many thanks for the reply mate. I've had a few days of trial and error now and I think I've mastered it. As you mentioned, which I didn't know, was that there was a temp indicator strip on the torps, I had been putting them straight onto the machine and letting them get to green light. After chilling them upto temp and allowing for them to settle it made a massive difference. I also noticed that the birra morreti had less Froth than the desperado and heineken torps. All very new to this but its been a lot of fun getting to grips with it ( hiccup ). Have a lovely New year and thanks again for the help.
Sounds like maybe the bottle isn’t affixed properly inside the machine , try taking it out and re inserting it , if not that maybe the gas has run out inside the bottle . Good luck Ali
Hello mate. Saw your vid yesterday as I was having the same prob. I've since left it chilling for about 20 hours. Poured nigh on the perfect pint. Long chill. Tiny bit drain off. Then into the chilled glass. Hope this helps

I’ve found that I need to put a torp in first thing in the morning. When I get home from work 6 - 8 hrs later. The beer has settled and is less frothy. Trouble is can only do 1 torp a day at that rate so it’s pretty useless.
Buy four cheap 590 ml tulip glasses from Amazon, chill one in freezer. You pour your beer into it and get half froth and half beer. Go for a wee, come back and the head has died down, top your glass up. Admire, drink🤙🤪
