📌Long Comment📌 One day about 5 years ago, my 11 year old granddaughter (she’s now 16) was spending time with me at my house. I was doing some spring cleaning. I always have music playing when I’m cleaning. Anyway… We were just hanging out, chatting while I finished my cleaning. A Queen song started playing. She knew the song “We Are The Champions” She said “Grammy, that’s the song that Adam was singing with that band. I can’t remember their name”. She told me that Adam was going to do some shows with “those guys”. She is an Adam fan since American Idol. I knew about Adam possibly joining Queen and I was so excited. But I couldn’t let her think that “those guys” were just a couple of old men who were still trying to get famous. The only thing she knew about Queen (she didn’t even know their name) was that Adam was going to sing with them at some shows. I asked her about Bohemian Rhapsody. She said she never heard of it. I played it. She said “Oh I know that song. It was on Wayne’s World. But I didn’t know the name and I only heard a little bit that was on the movie” She and I bonded (more) as I introduced her to Queen, Freddie and the genius music. She really dove into researching all she could about Queen. She had learned so much, more than I ever knew and started buying every album (Vinyl Records) they put out. She had to special order each album, buying one at time, she had to save money for each one. So from the age of 11 until today, she only has a couple more. She has become the biggest Queen fan that I’ve ever seen. She even named her new dog Freddie 🤣 She always tells me “Grammy, I’m so glad that you taught me about Queen. Thank you”. For me, it’s our little thing. I can’t explain what I mean. Her walls are covered with Queen photos…mostly Roger because she thinks he’s so beautiful 😁. I’m telling you this story because my daughter, her mom, bought tickets to one of their shows in San Francisco. We live in Idaho. That’s the closest Queen has gotten to our town. My daughter took my granddaughter to the concert. She didn’t ask me if I wanted to possibly go too. She knew that Queen was my granddaughter and my special thing. I’m not going to lie…Yes I was butt-hurt. I was so envious of her. But I’m so happy that my granddaughter had that experience. I don’t think I’ll get the chance to ever see them live. But it’s not going to ruin my life. But man oh man, I wish so much that I could have seen them with my granddaughter. Ok I’m done whining 😁
I adore Brian. But I hope he never wears that top again. I love the “Robot” looking costume he wore. But again, I adore and admire him so much, he can wear whatever he wants - except…🤣
If they ever managed to get this theme for WWE as a babyface Nakamura, for a once in a lifetime special pay per view and book Nakamura to win, the crowd would go ballistic
I'm a Brazilian, so I'm biased but I just love the enthusiasm of our people when they so audibly participate in unison durante most of the songs. Idk, it just feels amazing seeing everyone having so much fun and emotion. We just never stop it's awesome.
I'd say both of them have their own flare to it. His njpw theme can be represented as Shinsuke in his rise to be a great star, being that charismatic strong style wrestler he is and becoming a top talent and a major star. His WWE theme, is shows that he has become a master of his craft.
Great O-Khan has called out Nakamura for WrestleKingdom If WWE accepts the offer this could be the first event to feature NJPW, AEW, Stardom and WWE talent on the same show… that’s pretty historic
