I know this video is pretty dated however I recently purchased the FCB 1010 and need some help. I was wondering if I could pay someone to help me program my Behringer FCB 1010 via WebCam or something like that.

Okay, so I can follow the procedure well enough. But I am wondering if this device will do what I need it to do. I am told that it will connect to a Boss Katana Mk2, which is what I have. The GA-FC footswitch for the Katana will allow you to turn on and off your various effects groups; Boost, Mod, FX, Delay, etc. But I cannot use it to turn on and off individual effects. If my Mod group is set to the chorus, I can turn that one and off. But I can't switch it to anything else in that group such as a phaser or flanger. Can this be done with the FCB1010? i.e. can one button be programmed to turn the chorus on and off, another to turn the phaser on and off, another to turn the wah expression pedal on and off, and another to turn one of the delays on and off? The problem with the GA-FC footswitch is that the mod effects button can only do the Mod effects group. I can't program another button to do the same group but a different effect. Can I do that with the FCB1010?
Just bought an XT USB. I've installed latest drivers for 64 bit Windows and the Clockworks interface installed. I have SQ64 into in 1 and 4 synths out 1 to 4. All works fine, I'm trying to configure Polyend tracker into IN 2 and 3 synths OUT 5 to 7. I can't get this to work. The issue maybe that I have nothing showing on the Routings screen. What is curious is that Timepiece also opens when I click on Clockworks !?. Any help appreciated
May I know how you mix this so that it's quite loud? Did you use a compressor and limiter? When I use the Noire, it always comes out very quiet. Please help
Because, the volume level drops to -6dB. I had to use a trick and manually make adjustments so it would render at the proper level. Not sure if they ever fixed that issue.
@@sevchyk A lot has changed in making sample libraries over the past 5 years. For one thing the size of certain libraries have quadrupled with mic positions and additional features.
@@InTheMixReviews Big libraries with multiple mic positions existed a long time ago. For example, Vienna libraries. So your comment is really just bla bla bla...
I followed all the steps but it doesn't work. It's seem like FCB1010 manager cannot send the configuration to fcb1010. When I check at 23min38s like in your video, I still have the default configuration. I check and I have firmware 2.5
@@InTheMixReviews This is certainly due to the cheap usb-midi cable that I use. On the Behringer website it is mentioned that some cheap interfaces were unable to transfer data during programming.
@@InTheMixReviews For the moment this is the only cable I have on hand. I'll try later to confirm. But I followed the other video and I was able to program manually
@@InTheMixReviews A ridiculous thing, the cable, it is so bad that when the computer is connected to charge, it does not work, it does not route the information from the controller to amplitube. I thought it was Amplitube that was buggy, I reinstalled, I thought it was my FCB1010, but it's new. I accidentally unplugged the computer from the charge and it worked again, I plugged it back in and it no longer works.
Thanks for the great playing with this awesome library. Which setting did you choose? Is it the Main only or you mixed other mic options? Did it work well on your Kronos? I found sometimes different keyboards work better or worse with the virtual instruments. Thanks again.
It’s an older video. Can’t remember what I did at all. It’s a bad habit I have. I play around with settings, find something that sounds good but don’t save it!

Can you control an HX stomp AND ableton at the same time? Also I saw something about a new chip… would it be worth getting a new one vs an older used one?
I have thousands of questions 😵💫 I wanna sync my loop station with a midi controller and a synth. I'm still trying how to figure it out and trying to understand the way I should connect them. Hey Marcus, when will you come out with an 88 key Mellotron? The Mellotron micro only has two octaves. The M4000D and M4000D mini only has 37 keys. In as much as we have become adept playing reverse chords with the limited number of keys and octaves on the M4000D...........now jump on the grenade and punch out a fully functional Mellotron. You have the digital technology so why not? I would.
Can anyone explain few more times and slowly about sending/receiving sysx files between PC and FCB1010 thru USB Midi cable? Receiving is Ok but sening revised SYSEX file has not been sucessful. The Global CONFIG LED did not go out. It stayed on. 1- Start from plug in Midi 5 pin heads into the FCB ports. Male head with letter IN to which side and another head with OUT to which port? My Pedal has FCB 2.5 Chip. Midi USB cable is NoName with Staffs Key symbol logo. It has red light on but the In-Out LED never winked. 2- I am using FCB Manager 2.2.x. It can detect Firmware. The other Mountain FCB Editor Ed DIXON 2.9.2 went dead if I clicked Verify Version of FCB1010. So I decided to uninstalled the FCB Editor. 3- The instruction from FCB Manager for send or receive SYSEX varies. The software asks to remove In or Out cable, power off , reinsert cable, power on while holding DOWN. But i saw in video that the In and Out cables remain inserted. Also we can enter GLOBAL CONFIG while pedal already on, by just press DOWN. There is only one CONFIG, correct? Does it matter that I have to turn power off or I can do it after it is on already? 4- Move Green LED from SELECT to CONFIG, is it by pressing DOWN or UP? 5- Are there other Red button lights on the pedal before pressing 7? CONFIG Green is on. 5- After pressing button-7 to RCV SYSEX, what will happen to the Red LED? Press and release or holding? 6- Why I did not see Green CONFIG LED went out at all. It kept on shining even after 20 minutes. I tought it happened so fast, so I pressed DOWN and Held till main LED is 00. I did not see the rolling action (like reset the board 1+6 Power-on). Anyway, the PC said sysx was sent but the pedal function was not changed. Thanks to all,

Outstanding lessons! I abandoned the pedal for many years after using it with a Yamaha DG-80 Amp for guitar. Basically to select a preset of the amp. Last week I got back to my Line-6 POD HD500X and tried to do the same. The bid difference is, the HD500X has 8 banks that has 16 presets (divided into 1A,1B 1C 1d then 2A, 2B....16D). The HD500X uses about 10 footswitch and knobs. The presets can be programmed on PC via USB. Everything is not hard, EXCEPT 1 thing. The View of jumbo number can't be toggled back to show big fully legible from sitting or standing position. I have to bend down or kneel down with the guitar on my shoulder. It's the pain. So I got back to FBC-1010. Plugged it into the HD500X and started testing. It worked on few switces Then the PC CRASHED. I started looking on web and someone suggested FCB-1010. If you and anyone had instruction, please let me knows. Thanks a lot. What I have seen today is plenty already but more specific technics will be great. PS: I will try to insert only Midi-out from FCB-1010 to HD500X Midi-in and see if the Crash disappears.
