I did have very low pressure in my tubeless tyres. 14 psi and 15psi For context I'm 54kg .. I'd dried out for later races and was a bit easier mid afternoon as it wasn't so slippery untill it rained hard again then it was an icerink

@@GlyndwrGriffiths I’m 79kg and was running f 27.5. R 29psi with latex tubes. My tubeless keeps going wrong so went tubes. Maybe I should be running it around 25psi. Not sure how low I can run them. This was only my 2nd ever race. Best part u over took me just after the marshal pulled me out bushes when I crashed . Was first right bend after top of hill. 🤣 raced Pittville last week ran both 28. What was u running. U was flying.

Experiment in a training session on what it feels like at different pressures. I've gone down to 8-9psi but that was extreme as course was like an ice rink. You need to be wary when at lower pressures if riding on slopes as it could try and burp a tubeless or rip the tyre off the wheel if it's tubular and the glue job isn't great.

Pitville I was riding a tad too low a pressure and burped the tyre on some roots on lap 3 I think, then the front was washing out on every corner so went to pits and sorted it out. Went to 17 psi then and all was fine. That Race video will be on RU-vid in a few days hopefully. Was there any info you think would be a good add to videos for people watching it?

@@GlyndwrGriffiths u could give a little commentary on the race or certain points u like to say maybe what u done good or what was bad. Example don’t have to give ur tyre pressures but could say ran to low. Power and heart rate always a good thing cause people can gauge of themselves. See u at round 4 if ur racing ?

Yes, you are right. I messed up my positioning on the last lap and the gap opened a bit too late. I'll try and rectify that tomorrow.

Cheers pal, need to get a better lead out train sorted for tomorrow if it comes to a sprint again. Wind looks like it could split things up though, we shall see.

Hi Adam, I run a mixture of tyres, for muddy conditions I have been riding the Dugast Rhino tubulars for a few seasons which is on the bike in this particular race but I've started using the Schwalbe x one r tubeless for mud conditions as well, as well as the Schwalbe x one bite tubeless.

Yeah its amazing, tbh I didn't think I knew that many people.

There's another race there again soon. Hopefully they'll add in a few more technical sections on the banks and run it the opposite way round.

Yeah, sorry about the breathing but at that point I was blowing out my arse 🤪 I didn't want to edit it out either, I wanted the audience to go through that pain with me 👍

Just found your channel. Love the videos. No music, love the natural sounds of cross. Some commentary over the top would be great (tactics, advise, etc) from a mid pack cannon fodder racer looking to improve. 😁💪

I would love to add commentary but my lack of skills editing plus lack of time being a Dad,work, coaching and training as well. I have a lot more races recorded but haven't uploaded either. Need to work out a way of doing it all with as little time constraint as possible and easy to do.

Yeah it's going to be a great race. The course is all down to the fabtastic volunteers who manage it week in week out. The sandpit and hurdles will be in action for the race, we didn't do them for the hot laps. . What info did you find was helpful with regards to the video?

@@GlyndwrGriffiths well I’m in the u10’s so not really sure how much I will be doing I’m sure last time I raced here we had hurdles, the circle and the sandpit? I love a technical course the more technical the better
