Hello and Welcome! As my daily business is mostly related to sewing and second hand dealing, I'll be sharing with you my latest projects and ideas for sewing to sell. You'll learn to repair and alter clothes, construct new garments, and even upcycle some treasures from the Op Shops. As part of my second hand dealing, I've been enjoying ways to repurpose things long forgotten and unwanted, so you'll get to see what I'm doing with these previously unloved items. I love to get feedback, and am happy to try new things, so feel free to make requests for any video content that you'd like me to do. My list is ever growing, and about six pages long so far, but I'll get there eventually. My partner Chris and I previously enjoyed a low carb lifestyle. All the recipes are tried and tested by me, whilst Chris gets to be my guinea pig. It's funny hearing how you say Launceston. It's nothing like how we pronounce the town of Launceston, Cornwall, here in the UK. We say Lawn-sten, and if you're Cornish it's more like Laanson.
Fascinating trip with lots of variety. It’s really great you were able to combine it with your sports event. Certainly given me a better view of Tassie as I haven’t been there or WA. Such a joy to take a break away and unwind.
I have managed to get quite cheap banroll tape on alliexpress. The only downside is that it is a little bit skewed. It is noticeable on longer hems, but you just need to carefully cut some threads, so you do not pull on the whole length. Even with that issue... this technique is amazing. But I am glad that there are alternatives, as it is impossible to get banroll in Poland.
I have so enjoyed your Tassie series Christine! Thank you so much for bringing back treasured memories of my life there in the 70's, especially the west of the State and the north. I took my Mum for a trip around Tassie in about 1993, it took us 12 days to drive around the State, we stayed at BNB's and really took in so much of the exquisite countryside. Things have changed for the better it seems! Congratulations on your Table Tennis Tournament too!
There isn't anything in these museums, that you showed, that talk about or show anything about the founding of the. country as penal colony? Is that a myth, or is it something Australian's prefer to forget about? Just seems odd to me. I think it's interesting, and history isn't all about the good stuff, while burying the rest. The "other" stuff teaches us all something as well, and EVERY country has such history. Such a shame.
That would be because the Van Diemen's Land penal colony wasn't at the top end of the State, it is much further down. I think that your comment is a little rude considering Christine has shown us such a magnificent part of our great country. To travel to Port Phillip and Hobart would have taken quite a few more days, and lets face it, why not show off the best bits. Besides, not EVERY Australian is a descendant of convicts! Not our WHOLE country was a penal colony!
Great project. Thanks for showing how to fold it twice. I made more sense to me the second time. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you for your great tutorials.
Thank you for sharing the beauty of Australia with us. I’ve always thought your bugs and wildlife were scarier than our American ones…😂😂 I love seeing the normal side of it with you, what a pleasure!! Thanks again Christine❤❤
It's been a busy two days after we've finished at the table tennis Nationals, so were taking it easy by taking in some of the sights and attractions of Launceston. Chris also has a series of videos of our trip for you to check out. Love these! I am going to make a bunch of these to put Christmas money or gift cards in for Christmas! Perfect! Much better than the bank cards with envelopes.
