I have been thinking about the same thing when cutting on a questionable branch/ limb. Finding that perfect accessory carabiner with a 4to 5 kn rating maybe on my lanyard. Friction hitch could grab to hard and might not get it to break loose? Also thinking about attaching a small knife to suspenders ? Nice smooth safe climbing bro!
@@TamasBordas-d7j Right on, I usually strap my hand saw to my right leg in case I need to extract it quickly, but I’m thinking a piece of paracord or two looped onto your side ring connected to your lanyard biner or the dmm xsre biner. Thank you for the compliment buddy.
Dang arbsession Catalan hitch on ocean hmmm if it breaks and u are on it I agree best option would be to engage hitch and let line slide through cam u screwed trying to let 1k load on your body xsre break ya back cut it it’s knife to slow broken back. If one of the lifelines orange broke cause snap out while u near it engage prussic til you t hits the ground or u split in 2 cause rrp so maybe hitch slipping like that was a great thing. First of All... I would never hire any Faller who Has a label marking Him/Her as a "RU-vid Climber!" I want professionals not posers! A climber that works and trains in the Pacific Northwest where the largest trees on Earth live and are fell by REAL Fallers! These trees where you are - do not even qualify as TREES - more like scrub in the North West!
What you have tied is(3 because you Have 3 strands )anticlockwise half hitches followed by 3 clockwise half hitches.which makes the foot rope knot ,if you then roll the crown down over the wall you get a diamond knot.

@@petershea3131 It sure is a mess, my friend is selling his house and just wanted to get the limbs from over the drive way mostly, if they want it gone when it comes time to sell the house then we will climb it again.
@AnonbinArymouse-nm4ud We tried to do a face cut and pull over the cracked lead, but the cable attached to that from the main lead held strong, so we had to face cut the whole trunk and send it in one piece, as I had no where to go because of the fence right behind the tree.
