Subscribed to your channel looking good buddy I would suggest raising up the the air pumps if you have a power out water will travel up the hoses and go into the air pumps unless you have none return valves or put pumps up above water level on shelves
@@fayewoodman this is the 1000i . Here is the link www.ez-pond.co.uk/product-page/ez-1000i-1000qt Thank you very much! It’s almost finished. 8 weeks since delivery! 👌🏻
Your pond is looking great The green floor is normal mate Part of the pond keeping 😁 One question how many litres of media is in the drum and your running the skimmer + bottom drain with the drum filter ? Love your filtration 😎👌
Beautiful set up, Just a shame you put in your bacteria already, with no fish.. they will die cause hey have nothing to feed on.. pointless really, Put bacteria in when you put your fish in, but small amount of fish, so they can handle the load of waste they have to process. Now it’s like putting something in the freezer, but letting the door open. I’m not trying to sound cocky, or tell you off, just trying to help.
What a great video. I’m looking at getting the 750i Noticed it’s in your decking. Just wondering if it’s safe to put that much weight in the decking. I’m sure they advise to put on concrete base. Mine will be on a raised patio
It’s sat on top of the decking, and yes I was very worried LOL! It’s 5 tonne of weight. However it’s a solid frame on concrete, with 20mm composite deck and then a 20mm ply base. It’s held well. So far 🤞🏼
Nice video If I ever go drum filter, This filter is the one I was thinking about because the space I have in my filter house You got new subscriber looking forward with your videos 😎👌🎏
I've already got the exact same drum filter as you and thinking about going the ez pond route, so I'm looking forward to see how it progresses. One thing i would say is save a bit of money by not putting any bacteria in there until you add fish. Any benifial bacteria added just will die off if it hasn't got an ammonia source to feed off.
