Much to my surt...was just a kid, when the First time on t v, I saw Karen...she pulled a pair of drum sticks from the back of her pants..and sat at the drums..what? I thought..and Karen proceeded to sing and play..!! Talented lady.!! Never saw a female play the drums before..and on t v.. Unbelievable!!...Karen, what a wonderful singer and drummer..What a talent,!! Thank you!!

“Now” is one of two songs (along with “You’re Enough”) Karen Carpenter recorded at HER LAST EVER STUDIO SESSION (in April 1982), ten months before her untimely passing. It was done in ONE TAKE, which shows what a naturally gifted vocalist she was❕ The album to come from that final session was aptly titled “Voice of the Heart” (1983)… 💙🎶💙 Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed will you remain, Karen Anne Carpenter (1950 - 1983)… 🌹
Hi and I just watched the show on good morning A and I met Karen Richard 3 times was so happy proud and my god she was so then too hug and a kiss was like a bone so dam sad I love her so and sure will miss and play songs and smile say well Karen u did it ❤and we r so proud of you wish u talked we all r for u KC miss u so love u a real pleasure to meet you and rich will never forget 💓🥰
Karen Carpenter in some small way gave us Dolores O'riordan. And in some way Patsy Cline, Doris Day, Les Paul and Mary Ford gave us Karen Carpenter. Now we have many great songs between these great singers to last us a lifetime.
