My name is Brendan Reid and I've made every career mistake in the book. But as a result of a lot of hard work and some great mentors, I've been able to overcome these mistakes and achieve many of the career goals I set out for myself. Why do we refer to it as 30-60-90? Its really 30-30-30. The first 30 days, followed by the second 30 days and finally the last 30 days.

Thank you so much for this. I saw your clip a day before my interview. I drafted my answer to this question based on your advice. I also used your other videos. I swear this helped me out so much on trying to formulate my thoughts. I was told to write a 30 60 90 plan for my boss as I've just been promoted to supervisor (yay!). We'll see how he likes it!

Great advice, and I like the scenario of 30, 60 90 in the onboarding of a new employee, but this approach can be used in many different ways in sales marketing and service.

Great pointers on developing a plan, but I wouldn't use it during the job interview. It's pretty presumptuous that you set the agenda without knowing the ins and outs of internal work processes and the hiring manager's own needs. I'd briefly mention it or comment its outline, but no more than that. Once you get the job, the plan needs to be developed collaboratively with your boss.

Watching your videos great stuff I'm a 18yr employee with my company. My current Sr. Manager has been at my location for the past 10yrs I'm applying for a next level manager position so he knows my strengths and weakness full hand there will be him and another interviewer in the interview how can I attach this with someone who has a good knowledge of myself.

Your amazing and comprehensive video helped me to land a new, permanent position. I have previously done these, without any direct results. Your category breakdown, the introduction of a scorecard really impressed the CEO and COO at my new company. I would never go into an interview again without one. Attention to detail: They mentioned that they noticed that their brand new logo was on the cover page, their address was correct, including the postal code and the content was well defined. Thank you again, and peeps, don't give up. I am 62, female in a predominantly male industry, and have been out of my field for a number of years. Now I am back in the game, and you can be too.

Very good advice and bought the slides and template. Highly recommended cos although this may seem "obvious" is it is NOT obvious, since everyone has their own interpretation, so it's good to hear something sensible here. Thank you.

I adopted this approach and built up a solid plan for the first 100 days. I had a second interview yesterday and I’ve just received a job offer today, this is a really good way of showing the employer that you are willing to go the extra mile.
