Wind. Wood. Music. Consort. -And the sound of the recorder: pure, direct & sincere.
Vox Tremula is a recorder consort founded by 3 young professional players: Milena Cord-to-Krax, Elena Escartín & Gonzalo Llao. Totally fascinated by, and dedicated to their instrument they have joined together in this project to bring to life pieces composed over the course of 7 centuries.
They offer a creative and modern vision of the early repertoire, elaborating concert programs including their own variations and diminutions and therewith continuing and preserving the tradition and style of the musicians of the early epochs.

"Tremula." Tremendous in English? It is always curious to hear and watch a top level performance like this and see the musicians look so casual, were rock stars too often look to be in great pain.
We recorded the sound before and then recorded the video in playback (thats also the only way to take different kind of shots). We hope you like the result 😉
@@VoxTremula You're the best! I just don't understand how you synchronize your fingers to a prerecorded track, especially with highly ornamented music. No one ever plays anything exactly the same way twice. Mind boggling.
Nvm, there was another link next to the old score link that was a bit hard to notice. Thx for making it available for free! Very much appreciate it!!!! <3 <3 <3
We are playing a consort set made by Bob Marvin (r.i.p.). This piece is found at the Cancionero de Elvas (Portugal). Here there is a transcription of the original song: www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/A_la_villa_voy_(Anonymous) but we are also playing our own diminutions at the renaissance tradition way.
