This song is off of their first album and every song, off of their first album, is excellent! Every single song hits home for me. So glad you guys are still around! It is October 2nd 2024! Thank you! So much for the first album, it literally helped me out through a very tough divorce. Thanks again! Still listening.❤❤❤
Saw them live at 11am on a Saturday here in Adelaide, Australia. So glad I got there early to make sure I saw them play. They didn't know it at the time, but there were others like me that were there to see THEM. Thank you for your music, 36CF.
Brian, awesome video.....do you by chance have Les talking to the two young boys on the rail? those are my boys and trying to find a video of Les talking to them. Thanks!
Hey I remember talking to you and I have the video of les walking up to your boys while playing Wynona if you would like it? I sadly don’t have the part right before when he asked if they were brothers
theyre doing a 25th anniversary show Dec 6 in Anchorage. Alot of people are flying in from all over the world for it. I'm coming from Alabama....should think about going up
Destroy the map vocally is a 2 part song. The way the song is written was intended to have a second singer on the track. This is why the band has a fan from the crowd go up on stage to help sing, usually. most likely the band decided not to have a fan participate because of the recording of the dvd. The song is next to impossible to perform and sing solo. People who sing in bands have to know how to breathe while singing on key . This is not an easy task especially when you are jumping around on stage entertaining people. The reason why Brock sounds like he is struggle is because they filmed this DVD and the bitter end of one of there tours. Your vocal chords are a muscle and if you abuse them night after night like this your body falls out of shape. Also not to mention the drummers Tempo is not the greatest. He plays all of there songs way to fast, which makes it even harder to sing. 36 is still to this day one of my favorite bands of all time. The DVD they released does not do them any justice. Probably my least favorite performance by them. p.s I had the opportunity to hangout and have many cocktails with this band one night in Buffalo NY, while they were on tour with ALL THAT REMAINS. Believe me I personally know and hangout with hundreds of professional musicians and I can honestly say these dudes are a bunch of sweethearts, including Jason Costa from All that Remains. It was an incredible evening for everyone . never forget it.
Thank you for sharing!!! I was a little towards the back, and since I'm short my view was blocked a lot. This was my first time seeing the Deftones and one of the best shows for sure!!!
I would NEVER have the balls to try and fill Layne's shoes. They should have changed their name, there is no AIC without Layne, no disrespect to Jerry whatsoever.
They actually intended to do this song for the Unplugged concert, but during the rehearsal Layne couldn't sing the song because he was literally breaking down into tears. Jerry and Layne wrote this song about the addiction he was suffering, and at the end of his rope, it was simply too emotional for him to sing that to a crowd. Really heartbreaking, and my favorite AIC song by far. I freeze whenever I hear those first few notes.
