This video is more than amazing. We want to make a Myanmar travel clip but have no Bagan drone footage because it is restricted. We would like to ask if it is possible to take some of them. Thank you very much!
Im planning on taking my Mavic 2P, what do you say about customs. I will take propellers off, just in case. I also saw you requested permission to the govt, how did you ask for it? any emails?
Oh, how cool!...2014..pioneer era of drones.. nowadays I wouldn't have the Gouts to take off so close to a temple... In fact, we are going there to film in october and I am planning to take off from a distance...
With today's drones, you have the ability to fly with much better ranges. My old P2V+ was temperamental and only good for about 1000 meters on a good day. Most of the time 600m was the norm. Myanmar is beautiful and photogenic, but they might confiscate your drone if they see it. Be careful, both at the airport and when flying it.
What a great video! We really like it! Would you be so kind to allow us using it on our FB page or Twitter with credits to you and a link to your video on RU-vid? ;) P.S.: do you mind us cutting/editing the video, if necessary?
Great edit, love the shots! It's videos like yours that give us inspiration for our Vietnam drone videos. We actually just put one out on Ninh Binh so yours was a perfect one to have seen.
Hi Clipper, already I produce my travel clip from Myanmar but unfortunately I have no drone footage. It is possible to take some of them from your vids? Cheers!

It was sad to see her chained. At the time of the video, these animals had just been rescued from the lumber industry and were acclimating to their new lives. She was chained for her own protection, as well as the protection of the other elephants.
I was just there in November 2016. I requested, but was denied, permission to bring my drone so I left it behind in Vietnam. I have a friend in the government there who explained to me the political changes are the reasons they have tightened restrictions on drones in Myanmar. I was NOT searched at Yangon International and if I had risked it, would have gotten my drone into the country, but that doesn't mean I would have been able to fly it. Do so at your own risk.
