We love our 2022 XR. 37 inch KO2s on it now and a warn winch. I’ve driven 1000’s of jeeps (used to be a Mopar tech)- This is the best wrangler. And I really prefer the black and gold color scheme for 21-23. The red seats just don’t look as good imo! But it isn’t too bad with the Earl color. Great video, cheers!
I have a silverado 1500 4x4...in Florida. Our offroad is sugar sand and maybe mud. No rocks. Since I'm not towing anything and mostly road driving with the opportunity to turn off...i guess SL would be fine? What you think?
Amazing truck Harry, great choice of gear. Aussie stuff is reliable and its RND is probably hardest in the world. Mits beds are common on shows like 4WD Action (now 4WD24/7) etc ;)
Rams have a great engine, (sometimes) trans, and axles. Everything else is pretty shit. I miss my 2012 CCLB. Hauled a lot of stuff all over northern NV and ID with it. I live in Australia now, I don't think these folk have every seen or heard of a gooseneck hitch.
Hey Harry, I’m a junior writer for Northridge, been watching and reading from you for years, I hope to write informative and entertaining content like you do one day!
I was on my 3rd ram as a police vehicle this year until it finally shit the bed for good. All three were in the shop more than on the road for engine and transmission issues . I will never trust a ram again.
Here in NT Australia, there are crocodiles roaming around at night and could start nibbling at your tent during the night if it's on the ground, not to mention snakes, poisonous centipedes, buffalo, camels etc. ...
Just a cheet sheet on putting the 392 in forced two wheel drive, I've got a 23 392 extreme recon, I got the tazer and put it in two wheel drive, but I started noticing the 4wheel drive light blink every now and then when driving normal streets, and especially when on highway, reached out to tazer with the issue, never any response other than they will look at it, so I reached out to someone else whom I know would know the answer, I was told everytime you see that light flickering, your ECM is trying to override the forced command and you are burning your clutch plates in the transfer case, so I don't ride around in two wheel drive anymore, and I even checked the fluid which didn't look like it should or smell as it should so I changed it. My contact said that they cannot override the ECM, because they are not working on the can bus, so the computer will always be trying to override it. I'm not taking that chance, just thought I'd let you know cause I like your channel, and transfer cases aren't cheap, nor will warranty cover it when they see clutch plates scored
I’ve been using forceRWD for years in my 21. I change the fluid regularly and it looks brand new. You can look up my Instagram account and see a video of when I did it last. Mine and every other 392 I’ve ever been in does the light flicker occasionally as well. I’ve talked to quite a few people familiar with this transfer case and what the Tazer is doing. What you’re saying is the first I’ve ever heard of anyone claiming that the clutches are suddenly trying to engage. I’m not saying your source is wrong. I’m just saying that’s the first I’ve ever heard of that. As you know, it’s a pretty noticeable shift when you put it in ForceRWD. It’s also worth noting that the transfer case has its own control module. So, the there are a few layers of checks it has to go through before it can shift. Either way, I appreciate the note. While this transfer case has been around for years, the Tazer stuff is still fairly new in the grand scheme of things. It’ll be interesting to see long-term how it all shapes up.
Looking at getting a winch for my rig (finally). This video is a great help in my decision and is saved to help with installation. Thank you for your work!
These are valid points. I was considering getting a rooftop tent, but I believe I can still convert my truck bed into what I originally would have had the rooftop tent taking place of.
Thank you so much my friend! Ya, those liquid IVs come in handy in many situations. Especially after a little too much 🍷🍺 the night before! AHAHAHHAHA Or so I’m told. 😉. Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃
What, awww, Lol! Both of those vehicles are awesome. I really thought the Camaro would win, but I also thought the CRX could win. I have driven rear drive American moat of my life. I have a heavy foot at the track. But that's typical. I want a front drive car to help change my habits. I am used to American HP and torque. Amateurs like myself typically rely on that HP in the straight to make up for our driving weaknesses. You can't afford that habit in a lower powered front drive car if you're going to be fast.
