I well remember the first two songs. Especially the Christmas one. Christmas commercials back in the 60s, 70s, 80s and part of the 90s was really great. It was very nice to sing about world peace (I enjoyed it) but true peace only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ after repentance. HE will bring peace one day.
Every ERA has its own ups and downs or more ups than downs and vice versa... If only human beings have the power to choose which TIME and whose PARENTS we are going to be born... I guess that is much better... but unfortunately, we do not have that power and control.... Adam and Eve were created by the Best PARENTS (3-God in 1) in the Best TIME and PLACE (Garden of Eden)... but after their FALL from Grace... Mankind's LIFE is like a LOTTERY... some WIN, mostly LOSE... some are born in Better TIMES (Peacetime/Prosperity and not Wartime/Chaos) with Better, Responsible, Supportive, and Loving Parents... and many are unlucky... many were aborted, abandoned, maltreated/illtreated, and killed like animals... So, let us be THANKFUL to God that we are still ALIVE whatever ERA we are born... Facts and Truth of the Matters... Amen.
Let us be THANKFUL to God that we are ALIVE whatever ERA we are born... for many were aborted, and some were killed like animals... Facts and Truth of the Matters.
2:50 That was really an awfull rendition, but the ending 3:50 was unexpected, no one is forcing anyone to drink gallons and gallons of sweet beverages. Why ruining things like that?
Back in the day even Coke was inoffensive, sure it was made with refined sugar, but sugar is way more natural then the gmo sweetener, high fructuose corn syrup, not only in Coke but in almost ALL processed foods.
So sugary drinks cause diabetes eh? and here was me thinking it was an unhealthy, unbalanced diet that caused that, My mothers drank diet crap ever since it vcame out, guess what, she's diabetic, I personally can't drink or eat anything with artificial sweeteners, never have and never will, guess what... I'm not obese and I'm not diabetic.
The original had beautiful lyrics, "I'd like to teach the World to sing, in perfect harmony, with honey bees .... Trouble is many times we abuse of a good thing, There would be no health problems, if we did not abuse sugary drinks. They are fine once in a while, but not to be drunk several times a day, unless we are sportsmen who burn lots of sugar. The original song promotes unity between mankind, which is sadly so lacking today. We are in danger of another World War. May GOD help us to be in peace, with one another!
During a time when people sang. And they sang about love and hope. Not like the (c)rappers today who spew their venom through their lyrics. Everything is 'kill the police' or "F" this one or that one. I miss the good old days.
all these ads would be canceled today. The first 2 represent minorities in a stereotypical way. The third one celebrates xmas, which is offensive to non Christians. The fourth lacks of diversity. The music is country rock like, which is a clear sign of white supremacy. Also there is a white dude rapping, which is cultural appropriation. The last one is fatphobic and ableist.
Al mundo entero quiero dar un mensaje de Paz y junto al árbol revivir la alegre Navidad. La chispa de la vida. Still beats strong in my mind... more than fifty years later. The best commercial of Coca Cola.
What a stupid ending Coke in moderation. Won't they have public service announcements about the deaths due to alcohol and it's in your face everywhere you go there's not a restaurant grocery store or convenience store it's not in your face. People that the ending of this are stupid. Then again there probably a bunch I think I'm going to go have me a Coke and a smile😅
Good ‘ole Coke. Stealing a beautiful song from the band “The New Seekers” & using it to advertise their brand of pop. I hope the song writer was well paid. This commercial lasted longer than any advertisement I had ever seen when I was a kid. It went on for years due to the popularity of the song.
I have always loved this song. The newest version about Coke and other soft drinks giving you Type 2 Diabetes hit home because I have Type 2 Diabetes and am on 4 different drugs to combat it. I also drink Zero Sugar soda now.
