Well, now I know what happens when a cyclops gets destroyed. After a reaper dragged my seamoth to the depths, I was too scared/ very cautious of losing my cyclops. And losing a lot of my resources.
I chose to believe that closing the door and standing in the glass makes it so that the shockwave hits us and pushes us out the window before the wave of fiery death hits us.
By first time i blowing up my Cyclopse was a total out of nowhere desaster, my Submarine was on fire, I activated it fire suppressing system and something attacked my hull to get my integrity to 0% I was effectively trapped and could only await death. When I found my submarine again I was in awes of the ruines of it. Legitimate let a tear fall for my heavy duty ship that had survived many repairs only to fail at the way back to the prepared rocket I wanted to escape the planet for the first time with... It was a truly beautiful desaster that I will remember forever! ...unless I should ever suffer dementia xd
@@89BlackGatomon The fastest speed causes the engine to overheat and eventually causes a fire. The engine running is what attracts hostiles like reapers, leviathans, sea dragons, and ampeels to attack the cyclops. You shut the engine off. They lose interest in the cyclops.
@@holidayinn4293 So I play dead until they lose interest in me? Though there are exceptions to the rule, the sealing and the octopus hunting one never stopped attacking until the Cyclops run critical hull damage.
All these people talking about the lost River ghost leviathan. When I first found it it annoyed the crap out of me so I used the old stasis rifle and hot knife and made quick work of that pest.
