Thanks bro, right now for summer I do good using a Texas rig creature bait next to the grass or in the grass. They’ll hit it on the drop sometimes so you got to be sharp. Yeah hopefully I see you out there man!! Thanks for watching…
That’s awesome. I haven’t had any luck with hard jerk baits but I’ve done good with weightless weedless soft jerk baits. I’ll try the hard jerkbait next time I go!! Thanks
There a place to dock off the river, it’s next to “The Steps” in Granger or you can go through Lake Granger. The river is super nice and quiet. You can hear the birds chirping, fish jumping and every here and there cows or bulls drinking water by the river…
Haha yeah I moved from California this past June. I check the weather and try to go on any day that has under 15-20 MPH winds. But I also have an anchor for the kayak just in case
Yes, I’ve done some pond hopping and fished some city park lakes but I’ve noticed a lot of them they don’t allow fishing. It’s a hit or miss, it’s fun though…
When I was using the super fluke I don’t use a swivel, throw it out there and jig it up and down. Use the Carolina rig with a swivel when drifting or wait and baiting.
