This is off topic for this video, but I’ve been watching through your socials and can’t find the answer. Where is your blue white checkered rug/mat from? I think in your dining room. TIA!
I sat down and was watching this today when my man walked into the room after a lovely bike ride, a fall breeze and it's the end of the season for the motorcycles.. he sits down and is happy. Then he notices what's on my TV and shouts NO! lol ^_^ But I"m just getting ideas... every christmas is an event. He's like, 'but it's not even October!' I know, sweetie lol. :D
Love the slightly mismatched place settings. It’s so charming. There used to be a little lunch spot that ONLY used everything mismatched and it was memorable.
Just found your video on vintage Christmas. I have 4 trees - front living room, den, my master bedroom, and foyer. The den tree is our family traditional tree - glass ornaments that we’ve collected over our family years - it’s traditional red, gold, silver. My front room tree is more Victorian and girlie. My master is all about the kids ornaments they’ve made over the years and my foyer is truly one of a kind vintage ornaments. This year my ambition is to style a tree in each of my three children’s rooms. They are young adults and no longer live at home so this will be a nice surprise for them
I love the fireplace ash can. Mine looks exactly like yours but with one handle. I got it from a neighbors garage sale for $5 a few years ago. I keep it on my fireplace hearth and store wood in it. Around fall/Thanksgiving/Christmas I have placed pinecones and/or pumpkins and string lights in it.
Wow ! U can easily work in movies ! I’m obsessed with your decoration and I wonder what did u add to glasses and smoke pumps like that 😮 and also where did u buy the white cobweb? 🥰
YES!! I am OBSESSED with phone nooks. The little niches in the hallway. In our forever home if there is no phone nook, I will put one in. They’re a GENIUS idea really. Wire or rewire to make it a charging station and have a landline run too. I love the little things that were considered “gotta haves” back in the day but we do t use now but we should. Lazy Susan’s, built in ironing boards and drying racks, the little hidden things in 1950’s (ish) kitchens to make them seem more “modern” like areas specifically made for appliances - plug in, use and store all in one spot!! The knife block was built into my Granny’s counter too. The knife handles would be the only thing you’d see the block was IN the counter… new construction just doesn’t “do it” for me… unless I could customize the hell out of it, ya know? I LOVE your home. 98% off my home furnishings and decor are thrifted… or rescued from our recycling center…😊
I absolutely love the music you play in the background of your videos! It really sets the mood for the season you're decorating for. I plan to listen to a spooky playlist while doing crafts or making treats with the kids. It really adds to the "magic" of their childhood and I enjoy it as well.
His room is magical! I absolutely love it and your ideas. Takes me back to Halloweens when I was a kid. My mom always made everything so special. I think it is why Halloween is my favorite now. Thank you for sharing Krysta! Can’t wait to see more 🕷️🍂✨
The desk is perfect and I love what you did on the wall above it. Jamison’s room is just so cute. Love the pillows and tissue box cover. Love and blessings 🎃🐈⬛🎃
