The guys at Apex recommended your mounts as a way to address camber issues when lowering a Z3 without shelling for a full aftermarket rear suspension. It looks like a solid kit. I will for sure be ordering one of these soon!! Thanks for putting a video together - really helps understand what I’d be getting myself into. Not to difficult it seems.
No thx a brand new bumper looks 100x better and is cheaper. I already let you guys f me once. The door sills that say Datsun are not black enough and the logo is gold not silver.
Nice I just ordered a bunch of stuff from T3 including these. I'm going to sound mat the car and take the doors apart so why not get rid of the beat up door cards.
I'm so glad I kept my fiberboard parcel tray thing lol. Can't wait to order all the stuff u have available, cars nowhere near ready yet lol. Beautiful work man!
The louvers look great! Nice work! Just need 86+ side marker deletes, aluminum underbody trays/skidplates and ill be on it. I'm still planning on getting some of your door panels in the future. Awesome work bro!
Hey Oregon, I'm in Medford. Good to see new parts coming out for these platforms, lord knows my Z31 is held together with hopes and dreams lol. I'm looking forward to ordering some of these plates :)
I’m building a z31 from the ground up right now. Really Considering these for the build! If you guys have a TikTok I’d definitely tag you if I add them to the build!
Thanks for your feedback, Jason! If you’d like to contribute a little more information about the style of sheet metal parts you’re hoping we produce in the future, please feel free to email us: sales@skillard.com
I watched this video cuz i was interested in the product...then. Why is it so high off the deck? There's not a lot of room..seems to be a waste to have that much dead space underneath.
love it, too bad I order a replacement for Z Store a year ago...if I knew these were available, I'd been all over the aluminum. But its's just a matter of time until steel will rust again. BTW, yall make great stuff!!!
Great question! We produce a front grill for the 240z, although it looks a little different to accommodate the available mounting locations: skillard.com/products/datsun-240z-front-grill?_pos=3&_psq=Front+Grill&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Thanks for your feedback! Our 280zx hatch interior panels are intended for owners who want a stripped down interior, as well for those who intend to cover the panels with carpeting. Either way, as long as they’re installed correctly, you shouldn’t be experiencing road noise due to the panels themselves.
We have a shop in Oregon! Our parts are designed and manufactured in-house. The few aspects we can’t do in the shop (powder coating, for example), we work with local providers in order to keep lead times reasonable.
@@marcus9334 great to hear! Head over to our website when you get a chance to take a look at the rest of the parts we make for the ZX. skillard.com/product-category/datsun/datsun-280zx/
