If I ever soloed in a brute like this, I would kill myself in less than 20 seconds. But what really impresses me is that there was no such thing as a twin seat GB. Take her, and try to return in one piece. Good luck. I guess that devil stalled and spun just like a whip. 😬
Thanks for posting! I was there on Saturday, I remember Randy Mamola making us happy with his wheelies. Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy on Sunday.😞
Love the push start.. anyway here's a novel idea let's go back to this.. we can have a separate class for it... Only the best riders will race to the top without all these electronic AIDS and tech people and a computer guy you get where I'm going let's go back to basics

0:42 ‘record for land planes’ at the time the fastest airplanes were the Schneider Trophy seaplanes, at nearly 100 mph faster. They are still the fastest seaplanes till this very day.
I was able to watch the maiden tethered flight of the POGO inside a big aircraft hangar when I was a boy. I remember how loud the engine was and how it raised up off the floor just a foot or so before setting back down. It was an exciting event for me.
