I watched the movie Prince Among Slaves today. Prince Abdul- Rahman arrived back in Africa March 18, 1829. I was born March 18, 1972. I knew that day is extraordinary.
Question... why does one have to worship their God/creator in another's language... action.. I look at the action of the saudis and nothing makes me want to be muslim... I am no christian nationalist because looking at the actions of christianity .. like the arch racist Mahatma Ghandhi stated christians are like pebbles of rocks in a stream all around them is wet but break the pebble ... all dry... both religions and most are man made .... live and let's live treat others as you'd want to be treated...
The Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in arabic. If you want to know the true meaning of the context, it only makes sense to learn the the language it was revealed in. The Torah was revealed to Moses (PBUH) in Hebrew. Jews know the true meaning of the Torah and the Tennak because they know the language it was revealed in. Jesus (PBUH) was given the Gospel. Jesus spoke Aramaic. The Gospel was later written in Greek. People practice religion, but it does not make them spokesmen for the religion. Man sullies religion. If you want to practice a religion, it onl;y makes sense to READ its scriptures. Man is flawed; so making an argument as to what people do, in the name of religion, is foolish.
@@mrredd8439 you have not convinced anybody with that kind of logic ... making arabic the center of your religion is what has made Saudis feel like they're custodians of the religion.. a religion is meant to be followed by all people, I'm sure that is the intent... the evil Saudi royal family is supposed to be the guardians Allah help us all and the bigoted Arab speaking people who enslaved Africans are supposed to be better people because they speak a language ? find a better argument
Inspired by you sister I've pencilled a poem myself (after ages of not writing poetry). If you like it, it's a gift to you, yours to read at any forum you like with or without credit 🙂: I do not do it for others Not for my father or brothers It's not for any man's pride I simply do it for my guide My guide Muhammad, and his blessed line The Holy Imams, from Ali till the Hujjah, the Qaim The most impeccable ones And the second-to-nones The truthful, and the pure Let me say it with a roar That I don't fear nor hide Not for any man's pride But for Bibi Fatima, the radiant lady of light My role model, my leader, lighting my soul bright And if there's any one else in whose honour I cover It's my lady in Shaam, who sacrificed her brother Just to tell us, her followers, her shias, this That the aim of the game, the way to knowledge and bliss Is through the love of Allah, the Almighty Lord All praise belongs to Him, the Compassionate God And she taught us that drenched in love is fear And the 'consciousness' of our ability to steer Well away from Allah, toward the system of 'desire' Toward the system of oppression, and the system of fire Where my 'ghairat' is backward, what's revealing is 'in' Where my modesty is flawed, my hijab is a sin Where dupata is a noose around the neck, it's a rag Or it's a burden to carry, on the arm like a bag A wretched system that captures, from Disney to grey shades... That enslaves the minds, into a pleasure that fades It's the system of Satan, the lucifer, the liar Who's still out to prove that clay is lower than fire I stay clear of him and of the web that he spins Through his army of minions, among men and the jins He is my open enemy, I follow him not I don't listen to his views, on what's 'cool' and what's 'hot' He brings darkness, depression and a deep disdain Toward religion, worship, obedience and shame No I follow him not, nor his system or creed Nor his minions in media, I don't take their lead Nor his 'liberalist' minds, freeing people from 'freedom' From thinking for themselves, from knowledge and wisdom I don't need 'liberators', I'm in no misery They think modesty is oppression, my deen throws on me? Let them know out loud, that I am very proud Of my leaders, my submission, my knowledge, my shroud It's the time to speak out, O my sisters, my mothers Say it loud and clear, that we don't do it for others Not for any man's pride We simply do it for our guide.
maybe they were busy i didnt even know the guy when i went there and he treated me very well and in a friendly way, he explained everything to me and all, maybe he didnt attend to you because its only him and his wife that manage the lounge and the number of members are growing fast, so it would be tough for them 2, to be everywhere at the same time.
