Nice to see that the council have finally put the market back where it belongs.........in the high street. Bit short on numbers though, maybe more later ? Could have done without the wind noise though but nice to catch up .
Nice! I loved going into Stony Stratford when I lived in MK. I often went in 'The Cock' and 'The Bull' pubs for a pint or 2. I wonder if they still exist?
@@bobbybigboyyes Most of the pubs that were there in the 90’s and 2000’s are still open, what was The Foresters is now a dominoes 😂 , Stony seems to be doing ok although there are a few empty retail units along the high street, that seems to be a nationwide trend atm 🤷🏻♂️
@@EggBuehl Thanks, and it's a shame about The Foresters, or any pub that shuts. Just look at the abortion that they ended up making of The Old Barn in CMK. It was beautiful and unique inside with it's many alcoves, yet when I went in there several years ago with my son I could have cried after seeing what they had done to it!
Lived there between May 1989 and September 1991 haven't been there since the mid 90s the pubs are the only places that still exist from the time I was there
When they first built Milton Keynes, to try to con people into moving there, the campaign slogan was 'Milton Keynes, not far from London' and as everyone said at the time, 'Not far enough' 😇😇
