I have 18 years of bus driving experience most driving regional in state and with log books and ELD’s. My wife isn’t at all interested in commercial driving nor would she pass a physical. Do you know if Exam would take me based without actual OTR experience and would they accept me with a non same household team mate.

Hi just subscribed. Both of you are very nice. I am retired coming back out with a Class A, but this will be my first Straight Truck position and I'm exited. Question, I have a fleet owner who wants to go 50/50 on gas and tolls and a weekly mandatory fee as well. I'm a little apprehensive because I have to fly out to pick up the truck plus a 50/50 on gas and tolls without a paycheck for 2 weeks. Is that the setup you guys have now? and if you any pointers?
Thanks for the content . Just made 30 years working at my job at the USPS. Only place I have ever worked . Can retire but I am only 49 yrs old . So, I think this would be an excellent career change for me and a way for me to see the world while I am still kind of young .
This is the main peeve I have at road construction. There are signs, flashing lights way back down the road telling folks to get over and form one line. These idiots believe there is a zipper rule (alternating), which will cause the traffic to back up. If everybody would get into the one lane, yes, the traffic will slow, but it will at least be moving. The zipper method will bring it to a halt and cause tempers to flare.

Thank you for a great tour of your truck. What type of HVAC do you have and how is it serviced? My wife and I are starting an Expeditor business and building our truck from a 2025 Cascadia 72'' Sleeper. We want to go with the Park Smart HVAC but we were wondering how it all works for service when the van body butts up to the back of the truck, limiting access.
