awesome video, my second channel is a walk through video and love to film this town too, any idea of car parks near the train station? of course dont mind paying as long as its in town somewhere and not full, i guess it depends on the time i come right
Hello, Fleming Square car park is pay and display that is probably the most central, also the mall has a multi storey car park which you take a token on entry, then pay at a machine before leaving, both are reasonably priced. Good luck 👍
@@Robbo8ball Thaats so helpful thank you, just for the record my second channel is called "West Yorkshire Traveller" thank you once again, its interesting that you got married in that church, i definatly need to check these places out, thank you once again
Yes, I was a child extra in “There was a crooked man” and still have photos of when Norman Wisdom spent his last day signing autographs on Railway Road - a truly funny man, sadly missed.
@@Robbo8ball I thought I was doing it for free but was given a paper to go to the hall under the library and that’s where they paid people. My dad was very impressed and it went into my Martin’s Bank (later Barclays Bank ) chrome money box !
So picturesque, shame about the polluted water. no doubt someone is responsible for it, maybe one of the water facilities companies charging us all a fortune for the privilage , while dumping sewage into it. or am I being synical
It’s one of my favourite places to visit in Davao, the atmosphere is always buzzing lots of noise and delicious smells and everyone is enjoying themselves! We will be back there soon also and will make at least a couple of visits there. I can also recommend a visit to MTS if you haven’t been before, the taxis are very cheap and never overcharge. Enjoy!
No I’ve never had any problems eating street food in the Philippines, I’ve been about 9 or 10 times. I had problems in India many years ago and was ill for a couple of days. I always only buy from busy vendors, my thought is that the food must turn over more quickly and not be hanging around.
Hello, we filmed on the iPhones 13 & 15 pro max. It’s recommended not to charge them after underwater use for at least 2hours. We did try the clear covers for them previously but the footage wasn’t as sharp.
@TheSkyguy1212 Hi, no there wasn’t any tipping, we were guests on the trip of our friends who negotiated a group price with the organiser who we chartered the boat from. They allowed us to take our own foods no charge. If I went again I would probably give a small tip as we had a great time.
My grandpa was born in Blackburn in 1919, he moved to Canada when he was young. His dad was an officer in the Royal Navy and was sent to Canada to train Royal Canadian Navy officers so he brought his family here. I know some of my ancestors from there worked in the textile industry there from the records I've seen. Thanks for sharing this video, I hope to visit there some day to see my grandpa's place of birth.

Hi, we just found our own way around the buses were cheap and we just paid the driver our main trips were to the old town (Side antik), to the waterfalls at Manavgat and to Manavgat market bazaar. We generally prefer to explore ourselves and be on our own timeframe, but there were LOTS of excursions on offer, you can buy in the hotel or a little cheaper from the local vendors. I’m not sure if they are the same or different trips. We went in the amphitheatre which was interesting but a little expensive as you can see it mostly from the outside. I recommend having a walk around Side Antik it has spectacular ruins.
@carlalewis6747 Hello, they do a swim with dolphins experience at Aksu dolphinarium in Antalya, which is about 35 miles from Side. I would expect they could help you book at the hotel, but may be best to do online. I don’t know how many places are available or opening times etc. My wife did a dolphin trainer course in Hong Kong about 12 years ago and loved it. Good luck!
Grew up in Accy. It was dump long before the current problems. Building the arndale on top of what was a beautiful Italian sunken garden was the start of its problems. There's little good work. It's too easy to go past. Back in the 90s Broadway was a shopping street of charity shops. I don't like to dis any town, I grew up there and was schooled there. Parents still live there. But I never go back. Live in Bury now and there's no reason to go.
The lady was very much real, but it's the story that has been fabricated over the many years, and I'd hazard a guess she was a poor lady, living off the land best way she could. A bit like the Pendle Witches and who were also persecuted.
My pal worked a summer job at a churchyard back when we were teenagers, and one of his duties was to even out the ground by pumping water into it. Occasionally he'd inadvertently dredge up pieces of bone from the graves below. Makes me wonder whether a similar thing happened here.
That’s definitely possible and I’m not sure how deep the burials were back then, I also think the stories would have been passed on by word of mouth and probably got exaggerated sometimes.
Hi, Great video of Mirracho hotel and Praia da rocha, could you reccomend any restauraunts in Portmaio/Pria da rocha. And are there enough sockets for charging phones/Tablet etc, and Wifi signal!Me and my wife are visiting on Sept 3 for 14Days..Regards Ray.
Hello, the WiFi was ok in our room, we could watch videos with occasional buffering. There were enough sockets for us. I can’t remember the names of the restaurants sorry, we usually have a search on google for the type of cuisine then check the reviews. Have a great holiday 👍
This is a great way to improve a cheap polytunnel and make it extremely sturdy. I did the same with my polytunnel in 2018, added similar timber framing (bar the ridge beam) but added extra lengthways support between the side rails and top rail of the supplied polytunnel frame. I used the metal plastic coated thick garden canes for this. I have a timber framed door at one end and an opening window at the other end. My polytunnel is fixed to timber ground rails using similar U & P clips, timber frame is bolted to concrete, I am using raised beds inside. The polytunnel has withstood some serious wind since 2018, and other than replacing the original cover (which perished after 12-18 months), all is good. I replaced the cover in 2020 with proper polytunnel sheeting from Premier Polytunnels for less than £50. Great video.
Wow it sounds like you have a nice setup, I might try a raised bed next year or plant into the ground, im looking forward to growing some new things too. I will add a timber frame door at some point and also a window in the rear as it was getting a little hot yesterday 34c so I used a tarp as a shade cloth. I might add also add few more pieces of timber when I find some cheap, though it feels very solid now. I will also add some proper polythene from premier or northern when the cover eventually fails. It’s my first tunnel but watched a lot of videos beforehand maybe over a hundred! So had a good idea what I wanted to try. Kind regards, Dave
Do you need to buy a card before using public buses or just pay cash to the driver? Some vlogs showing you need a prepaid card to board public transport like Antalkart?? Help
How did it last in the storms over winter ? I’ve had four of these from different manufacturers all from Amazon I timber framed them and screwed them with stainless clamps , I’ve tried all sorts of things but the plastic cover comes apart down the seams the last storm we had 110 mph gusts and it flattened the frame I should have the some photos. Good luck with this growing season have lots of good quality food mate.
@coolhandlukeful Hello, it’s still new, we have only had it a couple of weeks. I will do an update video in a few months after we have had some stormy weather, kind regards.
I moved here when my parents took over a pub called the Fleece when I was about 11 years old, have stayed around the area ever since. The town has seen better days a lot of the retail is struggling, but I still like the area.
