I am from Panama....this reminds me of the bus rides to the city.... bumpin' systems.... lights, custom paint jobs.... and this was at a time when Jamaica and Panama had music together..... what we called Reggae ....but it was more like dancehall..... and then it spread throughout Latin America and the islands like Puerto Rico.... the Puerto Ricans, who were more versed in their English and rapping .... switched over to what is now Reggaeton ....@India.... I love the fact that you react to all styles of music.... wasn't expecting you to find Big Boy... Gustavo ... that was my father's name....RIP dad...
They have a crazy story, but before we all we knew....we loved their songs....still listen to them here and there.... 80's and 90's were the best!!! ......so I came across your channel and I like it.... I don't know what it is about watching younger people reacting to songs, shows, games, etc., of my time.... I love it! Thankful for RU-vid that I can still listen and watch the videos from my teenage years...and the younger generation can discover what things were like back then..
Where I’m from we had the depression and the dust bowl. The old folks from then don’t have anything nice to say about FDR. My grandpa and great grandpa on my moms side were sharecroppers 70% of the profit goes to the land owner. With that 30% you gotta take care of the family and buy grain seed. You still gotta pay that lease even if you have a drought, flood, or tornado. Most had tree families living in the same house
Lp is not Trans, she is lesbian, she had a double Mastectomy because double breast cancer runs in her family. fuck off. Also she wrote songs for Beyonce, Cher, The Backstreet Boys, Rhianna, Britney Spears, ect. Do something with your life, she is.
It's marked on our Maps where the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. Every time we near the wreckage we deliberately sail to avoid it - it's a gravesite, and we sound the horn 29 times
You got tears on your eyes cuz you know and we know this song was so miracles. These two divas have made it!! They Booth had a powerful voice. Ive got chills too
The divide is still there, but it really has almost nothing to do with skin color anymore. Today you are a slave to your mortgage, your car payment, your credit cards, your cell phone. Economic slavery, is still slavery. And you still have us, and them.

I think you nailed it on the head.. It's your day, woman stay. Changing your ways, changing those surrounding you Changing your ways, more than any man can do Open your heart, show him the anger and pain, so you heal Maybe he's looking for his womanly side, let him feel
I come from Scott/ Irish roots and have been researching my ancestry and have learned so much about not only my ancestors but the culture, where they settled , which is where I'm from, the middle of Pa and their music. I really see the Scott/ Irish influence with the bagpipes at the beginning. The story tells of moonshiners, which some of my ancestors participated in. This makes me love this song even more.
