Passed mod 1 with these videos and only been riding a few months. Incredible advice! Got my mod 2 booked so just gotta binge your MOD2 series now. Thanks so much <3
This is a great video . I am having issues with the roundabouts at the moment and training for my mod 2 and just don’t seem to be progressing well with them. So really glad to find this.
This is my first bike, i am looking at tomorrow to buy, its a sv650s that was converted into a naked, vbut i am afraid of the clip on handlebars... Is there a way to replace them with standards?
i'm currently doing lessons in spain, which makes it interesting because my spanish is so terrible hahah. they let me do the common theory test in english, and the motorbike specific one was in spanish. failed the english one :) passed them both next time, then did the mod 1, which i fucked up as well by riding through the cones instead of weaving around them, due to nerves, passed it next time no problem had my first lesson on the road a couple of days ago, and it was terrifying, but now i feel a lot more confident! couple more lessons and i'll feel confident enough to take the test. your video is super helpful! also nice to hear a friendly accent, i'm scottish too :)
Thanks a lot for this video I sit my CBT in a few days and was looking for videos to help and I seen your video and looking at the route you took throughout the video you were near me and it helps me with confidence to know that there is alot of people around thanks alot
Is positioning for roundabouts different for bikes upto 125cc? Just done my CBT and the instructor made us do position 1 for left and straight and to hug position 3 for a right turn 😅. Great content by the way!! 🤙
Great video. Going on a motorway for the first time tomorrow so very informative and a friend is chaperoning me. Love your videos. Easy to understand in plain english 👍🏍️
Passed my MOD1 today in the worst weather imaginable. The rain was coming from the air, the ground and sideways. Roll on MOD2 and better weather. Thanks for the vids 👍🏽
If you have a CBT and know how to drive and how to do it safely and know what the rules of the road by learning them remembering to do shoulder checks etc. You dont need to pay the 500-1000 Mod 1 is simple that can be done straight from the government website and it costs £15 to book. Mod 2 is where it could get more tricky its £75 or something and its half an hour of driving where you have to make sure you do everything correct. I understand a school can get you prepared for this but you can learn this yourself by driving on a CBT
Sounds like a touch of arthritis creeping in. I have both arthritis and Diabetic Neuropathy and I find I have to keep my hands warm. Even at times stop and deal with it as needed, a good dose of hot water, I keep hot pads with me, extra gloves and the list can go on. Just depends on the day.
Busa 31 France.
I remember my bike test it cost £13.00 lasted 30 minutes we did have the option to do a CBT course if we wanted to but it was not on the road think it was about £9.99 both were a lot at that time . My first bike road tax was £6.00 . In them days if you earnt a £100 per week you was rich. I have all groups Bike ,Car, PCV and HGV 1 and Tractor just shows how old I am. What a load of hassle it is to get a bike license now. .Seems like its a rip off all the way.
Hi, If you are turning right on a roundabout whereby two lanes turn right, would you still indicate right irrespectively? As I am getting confused on how the 'outter' right hand lane - it would feel, to me, that to indicate right, the persons in the 'innermost' right hand lane may feel that I am cutting them up? What would the expectation be on MOD 2 for this? Thanks
My instructor had ago at me for doing both life savers. I faild my cbt 2 times. The second time i did alot better but i relised on my second one that the lady that co owend the riding school wasent verry nice. I thought she was laughing at me on my first one but just ignored it cuse i wasent sure but when i did my second one i could here her talking sht about another rider and laughing that they wouldent ever be aloud on the road. When i had qestions they wouldent explain things when i asked. I know my self i suck and need more time but this lady really wasent nice and dident make her school look good. She had the attitude of she was better than everyone. Her husband was fine and i actuley was able to learn better from him but safe to say i wont be going back to them
Thanks for your videos mate. Really helped and watched a couple before smashing my mod 2 today with zero rider faults!!. Did CBT to MOD 2 in 10 days and lots of watching your vids! 👍🏼
