imma be honest wicha fam.Im not crazy bout the sounds of a P bass but thats the best cleanest p bass i ever heard and im serious. It sounds like a jazz.Makes me want one now and i update every bass that comes through my hands. If its passive when im finished its gonna sound like a very expensive bass.
What a compliment! Thank you sooooo much. I no longer have it, I sold it to a recording studio in Wisconsin. I'm currently working on my latest P Bass; the new neck just arrived from Japan today! Please stay in touch, my bass tech said it'll be ready by month's end. It's black with white accents. I'm waiting for the pickups and pickguard to arrived along with the new passive preamp. I'll do a full review as soon as it returns, peace.
Oh no, on the contrary, he's very accomplished. He didn't want to show his stuff, but did you hear the difference in those few chord progressions... everyone knows he's really good.
yep - brilliant designs including pup and pup placement. I 'm old and in bad shape - also losing use of both arms - might get a Glarry J-bass and if so would like to try a cheap set of single rail single coil pickups - bet those would be very "hiifi" and extended on the top.
@karlsonkab51 , I own a Glarry j bass, $80 and I've gigged it too. I have a youtu.be video on the 5 string version that I modified the neck. I gigged that one a lot!
Nice to hear you play. I just ordered the same bass you have, in black. Can't wait to get it. Your video confirms that ordering that bass was the right call. I've been into Marcus and J Basses for over 45 years now. But I started on a Sabre fretless, I guess I'm sort of coming full circle. I'm still going to play my Js, but it is nice to get an extra flavor.
"You are right, bro!"... I have 3 Ray's, one American Ernie Ball 5 string, a Sterling H4(modified), and a Sterling HH4(modified), and you just convinced me to put flats on it. Thanx
I did my truck 2 years ago and I drive it everyday. I live in Atlanta and I drive my truck to Miami, So Carolina, Alabama, etc... I swear by this stuff. Please follow the instructions, I did and I saved a lot of money 💰.
Excellent, and because they're nylon, there's no buzz. I just put them on my signature model, the A-Mc1. I ordered two more sets and I'm finding out that they're giving me a tone I can live with
