Poor Elvis! I remember the day he died… his music lit up the airwaves. And upon learning of his death, we were told to turn on our car headlights as a simple tribute to him… I remember as if it was yesterday. My room mate’s wedding took place that Saturday. That’s how I have such a vivid memory of that day. Must have been Friday, August 13, 1977, will check that date later. Elvis will never be forgotten.❤
Just checked the date in August (re my roommate’s wedding). Correct date is August 12, 1977… felt I needed to make the correction. Will never be another Elvis! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great list, all songs are amazing. But of all live performances the one that always hits me the hardest is Unchained Melody from the 1977 concert. Elvis sings it with so much emotion that I feel every note. ❤
I have always loved elvis and he has always been able to sing anything and has gave a absolute great performance. People try to copy him.they have no chance. So why don't you just stop.
After all of these years, no one compares to ELVIS and nobody ever will! There is a reason that HE is called the KING of ROCK and ROLL and HE definetly deserves that title! He was absolutely phenomenol! I totally adore him; always have, always will! ❤
Schade.
Who do you think he’s thinking about at 18:47? The pain is real, look at his face! I’ve watched this a hundred times and never noticed it. The grief muscle in your eyebrows is hard to fake. This is so sad. 😢
This was better than a documentary on him… it was a perfect exhibition of his destruction and his rise and talent as shown by his performances and music.. ❤️
