@@ricksteeze8159 I notice myself sighing when I explain things sometimes 😅 I think I get a little out of breath haha. Just moving some Qi, I guess. It’s exciting to hear you’re at this phase of your journey! Such a powerful moment when it hits home that they’re not needed to feel the way you wish to feel 🫂

That is wonderful! Thank you so much. Stop eating sugar has also helped me a lot. I saw that you use honey in the tea: Just as an information - honey should not be heated over 40°C. Otherwise it transforms into a toxic substance. Below 40°C, it is fine. Thank you for the video, I loved it!

@@krishnamurti007 Oh wow, thank you so much for that info! I had absolutely no idea. Do you typically wait for your drink to cool before adding honey? Yes, sugar is so bad. I have a sweet tooth myself and can always feel it whenever I decide to be flexible with something I’m eating. It definitely loses its appeal once you realize how much better you feel without it!

@drlindalopez Dear Dr. Lopez, it is so nice to hear from you! I studied a lot about ayurveda, and in that ancient Indian medicine, they say that honey over 40° turns into ama, which is a toxic slimy substance. Therefore, I don't put it into my tea. Also, because I don't drink anything that must be digested in order to not produce ama and keep the digestive organs busy. Likely, ama is produced when we eat something before the last meal is digested. So, I like honey on bread. Your video has helped me profoundly, and I thank you again for it. I wish you all the best of the best!

@@Natalia_Belen I’m sorry that you’re going through this ❤️‍🩹 Feeling lost oftentimes turns out to be growing pains for something greater coming into your life. Perfect timing for this to come up on my recommendations. I just started tapering down on my antidepressant last night. Having a lot of anxiety about it but this is a great reminder that our bodies are so smart and powerful and will heal themselves if let them. Looking forward to more videos from you.🌷

It is completely normal to feel some anxiety when you first begin tapering off and although you're feeling anxious about it, I just have to say - I am so excited for you!! It takes a lot of courage to make that leap but it is SO worth it in the end. If you need someone to bounce any ideas off of, I'm here 🤍

I’m struggling with mental health to i refuse to take pills to be normal
@drlindalopez
@drlindalopez 4 месяца назад
I’d recommend finding an acupuncturist and/or Chinese herbalist in your area. Both of these have been huge in my own journey! An ND might be able to recommend some supplements that can help bring about more balance as well, without any pharmaceuticals. Having certain go-to’s for those particularly hard days can also be really helpful. I like going down to the river. Water is very grounding and so is any time spent outside. But it could just be a practice or activity that is soothing to your system. I’m sorry you’re going through this right now and I completely understand not wanting to take any pills. Mental health can be really hard to navigate at the beginning but it is possible!

All of these resonate 100%! The one I often find the hardest is allowing myself to become vulnerable and face the most difficult parts of myself in order to continue on my healing journey. Messy is uncomfortable, but the only way to clear the path and continue to grow.
