The sheats are not worth the product. They can´t keep up with the axes by far. Especially for the smaller axes and the hatchets the sheats should provide an option to be fix on a belt. And they don´t hold up very long. The axes cut into it and they are to weak.
Love my GB Scandinavian forest axe. But I have to say, my Hultafors Hultan hatchet is a significantly better finished item. I'm not so sure that GB is still top of the list.
Used large forest axe for all my Solo Multi day hike/camps on/off trail in N to NE Mn all 4 seasons and extreme temperatures swings its held up . I'm 6'4 235lbs so the Large fits my body good . Under 6'0 maybe recommend small Forest axe .
Hi I have a number of axes I use from different countries and a hunters edition from gransfers and take this when I am back packing I would not be with out it
I love my axe though there spokes person is way to serious, kind of made me uncomfortable (lol) being that their product has so much beautiful character and history. Why So Serious...
Once my taxes get here I'll be buying the small forrest axe. I've been using my walmart axe for years and I'm sick of sharpening it every trip. Gonna finally get an axe that I can be proud of!
They are fantastic axes/hatchets (I have 6 different shapes&sizes). I got my first one about 20 years ago and my last one about 5 years ago, they are still in excellent condition. I would buy them again anytime.
Please don’t increase production to meet demand. Keep them halfway rare and unique. It’s truly remarkable that the Smith making each one initials them.
I bought one and had it in my pack in the back seat of my pickup truck. Someone busted out a window and stole it from me. I resolved to purchase a second GB SFA. It's just that good.
@@olivierdols5556 no, the axe was on the side of my pack. They stole my entire backpack. I’ve since replaced 95% of the stuff though. About $1100 USD including the window replacement, but that was cheap compared to all the quotes I got.
My GB Splitting maul and forest ax have character, have soul. I get my firewood in rounds just to enjoy the pleasure of splitting it myself. Once you go GB, you don't want anything less...
00:27 And then theres Hammerwerk Müller from Austria from 1675. :) Gransfors and Müller are the only Smithies in Europe left that shoe the Initals of their Smiths!
So I stumbled upon this video and I can honestly say that this video deserves an award! Beautifully done and put together! I really want to own one of these! :D
