I loved Hillary’s but I think it’s because it doesn’t taste “meaty” and sometimes the other ones freak me out because they are too similar to meat. Really sad they stopped making them.
Huh??? Original Laughing Cow is not 'bougie' at all. It's a pretty processed-tasting 'cheese-like', humble lunch-box product. Like the French version of Cheese Whiz, but just firmer and wrapped in foil. (Although it is made with a different type of cheese). So they don't have a high bar to hit.
Just got the Blueberry Swirl. It tastes and smells like super sweet cardboard. Maybe the container leaching taste into it? I've been eating blueberries all my life Wild and cultivated. Definitely no blueberry taste in mine. Milk based ice cream gives me really bad sinus pressure and stomach gas and bloating so i wanted to try these. Maybe it got freezer burned taste?
I followed the baking heat and time. It came out doughy in the center. I had to stick it back in the oven. It tastes very good though. This is my first ever try at making bread. Thank you for your recipe.
