Thanks for checking out my channel, even though you probably got here by mistake, it's still nice to have visitors. I play video games of all kinds and from all generations, but I'm more than that. Who knows, maybe the other aspects of my life will come out in my videos.
Such a good controller for the price. I cant play without the elites since the beginning... This is smaller and less durable but more responsive. WAY BETTER THAN THE FLYDIGI apex4. That thing broke within minutes multiple times. Im here bc im having issues with the input reads but its well worth dealing with especially if I can reset it and make it work right. Cant use 1000hz bc the input sticks until you input another input sometimes so I hope this helps. I wish the Elites had this hardware but better quality of it.
@@BtShawn the video is from my Xbox console. Just get on the store and search for the GameSir Nexus app. The only thing you cannot do is change the polling rate above 250 Hz. That can only be done on PC.
@@IgotTheGloq one of the most common problems that can cause this is a bad USB cable. If trying a different USB cable doesn't do it, I guess there might be something wrong with your console/PC has a bad USB port, but it's unlikely.
@@IgotTheGloq I have some that don't fit, but others will. I bought a Rayovac brand cable from Dollar General that works and is what I've been using for months. You just have to find one that has less plastic around the connector so it isn't as thick.
@@rhysmilton_ If you mean it is physically stuck there, then something's wrong with your controller either need to take it back, get it fixed under warranty, or take it apart and try to fix it yourself. If you mean the stick goes back but the computer or console thinks it's still stuck over then the manual calibration should fix it. You could also try doing a calibration through the app.
@@rhysmilton_ That is what s calibration should fix. If it doesn't, I don't know what else you could try... Well, you could try a different cable. My factory cable eventually started giving phantom button presses. I guess it could also cause a problem like yours
I do not have a T3S, but I've been researching and it looks like the GameSir T3S is locked in at 250Hz when wired to a Win11 PC. After digging some more, it appears the only GameSir controllers that can be overclocked to 1000Hz are the G7, G7SE, Kaleid, and Kaleid Flux. Hope this helps.
Yo YOUR ARE THE BEST i thought my dig broke my controller cause he uses it as a chew toy but its just the software i tried breaking it apart but the screws are microscopic im so glad i found this cause i was close to tossing the controller
@@OscarPerez-og7kt The Xbox app used to, but it doesn't anymore. However, you can use the PC app and change it to 1000Hz and the change will stay with the controller. Supposedly, Xbox had GameSir remove the overclocking abilities before it's seen as an unfair advantage (there's never been an official statement that says this)
oddly enough. when i press A at the end, the light does not come back on. My RT is not working. :( I find it very difficult to believe the trigger actually went out. I have less than 300 hours on this controller.
@@benopine2440 Calibrating your controller basically resets the sticks and triggers. Sometimes sticks or triggers may not act quite right over time/use, after a physical modification to the controller, or after an update to the firmware... Say you replace the sticks with ones that have a thicker base, your controller won't think they are going all the way to the edge because of the thicker sticks, so you need to calibrate.... My problem was after an update, my right trigger thought it was constantly applied, but calibrating fixed that.
If your sticks do not respond correctly or seem to be off center... or if your triggers do not work right or have unintended dead zones, it is a good idea to calibrate. One time, after updating the controller, my triggers were showing fulling applied when they were halfway down (making racing games more difficult), calibration fixed that.... It doesn't hurt to calibrate, but unless you are experiencing issues or made physical modifications, there really is no need.
@@APcoking I've had people tell me they have this issue more frequently lately. I recommend trying a different USB cable. I did have one person tell me they ultimately sent the controller back for a replacement. If a different USB cable doesn't work and you didn't have problems after updating the controller, I'd recommend trying to get it fixed/replaced if under warranty. But... If this happened after updating the controller, you could try going to the Troubleshooting section of GameSir's Discord and ask them for the downgrade file for the firmware version that worked before and the instructions.

@@ragsa789 You may want check the GameSir Nexus app to see if the trigger vibration got turned off somehow.... You could try a manual calibration (there is a tutorial video on my channel)... Other than that, if this started after an update, my next advice would be to go on the troubleshooting section of GameSir's Discord and ask for the downgrade file and instructions for the firmware version that last worked for you. @@Luscombag does it work for xbox console?? Trigger vibration?? Or do you have kaleid type, in description is written "hyper realistic vibration". Is that true??

@@Demonzerko the most common reason I've seen for problems like that is the USB cable. The other option is to update the firmware. I took extremely good care of the factory cable. I never rolled it up, I plugged it in and left it there on the table where I played, and it started going crazy. The included cables have not been known to be good quality. I went to Dollar General and bought a 10 foot Rayovac brand USB C cable and have not had a problem since. Hello, do you have a communication application for me? I have a problem and I didn't know how to solve it, which is that the R3 has become L3 and vice versa. I use PC.
@@user-qw9zm5bv3q If you mean that L3 and R3 stick button presses are flipped, you can use the GameSir Nexus app to change them back. It's available on the Microsoft Store. If you mean the movement of the sticks is flipped, that's a new one to me, but resetting the profile should do it (in theory). Go to the GameSir Nexus app, choose the affected profile and go to the settings/gear icon in the upper right hand corner and click that to reset the profile. Or... If you want to manually switch back to the default profile, press the M button plus the Y button at the same time. If you want to manually switch between one custom profile and another, press the M button and B or A or X at the same time. (Profile 1 is B, Profile 2 is A, Profile 3 is X) But... If you are looking for a way to reset/fix the controller without software, I do not know of any method to do that.
True, I can do this through the application, but when I press the M button, I don't know how to confirm it. Please help me or give me a way to communicate.
@@baker_iq1346 The easiest way is to download the GameSir Nexus app (on PC or Xbox) and program the buttons for what you want then to do in the app... If you want to program the back buttons (R4/L4) manually you can do that too. As an example, if you want to have the right back button (R4) programmed to act like the A button, hold the M button (bottom front button) and the R4 button at the same time until the light blinks, then tap the A button. The light should go solid and now R4 acts like the A button. Also, make sure the lock switches are off on the back of the controller are off, otherwise you can't click the back buttons.
