Hi dude. Loved your video. You really explained the process. But can you help me getting into Visual Effects? I don't have any experience with that but, I've been making videos from a while now and currently I'm doing my graduation in Graphic design and doing Freelance projects from like 2 years. I really want to get into VFS and specifically in Visual Effects. I've a lot of projects from motion graphics, to my solo Film work. What should I show?
Hey!I just saw your youtube video, which is "How I got into Vancouver Film School".I liked it the thing is most of the youtuber's, what they do is they show their beginners portfolio or the cost to get into VFS or expensive's in vancouver city but, some students are more curious to see the portfolio after graduating from VFS so, please do a video on your portfolio after graduating from VFS It will help lot of students who are looking to step into VFX and ANIMATION industry

Wow, my mind was reeealy exagerating. I was imagining that you needed something at least The Witcher 3(For games) or Avengers(For movies) in your portifolio to enter VFS. The bad part its that the annuity fee, while not being that expensive for someone who lives in Canada, United States or some country that has Dolar as its currency, for someone in Brazil is almost impossible unless you pay in installments(And good luck finding a bank that will accept to do it). Its the price of a house around here.
I just came across your channel and i was wondering whether you are still in the Industry or in general works on animation stuff. I saw your last video and you said you are going on a different career path. I wondered what happened. I wanted to learn animation. Any advice would be much appreciated.
What is tuition like for foreigners, as I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦. And is there a chance for scholarships? I'm in grade 11 now and I'm very interested in VFS.

hey not sure if you'd reply to this, but just wondering where did you work while going to vfs and how much did it pay? I'm wanting to go into the film production course in about 2 years and wondering what are some good places to work while living in the city.
I want to apply to VFS when I graduate school! (in a year and a half I'll be applying) I want to do Classical animation :) These videos have been helping me out A LOTTTTTT hopefully you keep making these... you don't seem that active anymore
Make a listing on Vancouver animation facebook groups, make a listing on Vancouver Craigslist, or just ask the school housing department to look out for roommates for you (they charge for some stuff so ask if it will cost you anything)
Do not come unless you get a job offer with 4,000 dollars at least. Very expensive city. A real estate mafia ((from a certain race)) destroyed the city. It's expensive even outside downtown. Moreover, when you see the price you think that you will get a modern design apartment but it's not. In fact, it's a very standard design. The city should take a look for these overrated priceses.
I'm in 12th grade and I want to become a game developer or game designer and I don't have any experience of editing and programs So can i apply for vfs? And sorry forgot to tell I will learn some programs like python c++ unity game engine Maya etc Can I apply for vfs?
question: If you have an idea for an animation project like a script, do you also need to know how to create animation or just work with ateam that does it?
