@eliterideaccessories222 i have not had any issues yet. Everything seems tight as of now. It's aftermarket. Trq i belive. I will be doing the swap again here soon with the blue del sol.
@@scottyknows7234 ah oh ok! Thank you for the reply. Trying to help a friend and he has both that exact steering rack and NRG brackets but his rack slides side to side causing bump steer :(
For real, i watched every single video of your channel, i just bought a crx del sol, with my girlfriend for take it as a project. We are from spain so we can't use a turbo in a vehicle that doesn't have turbo from stock, but probably we can make 200hp n/a What do you think about the objective?
@JoeyRiz I'm in the northeast as well. I inherited this from my grandmother, who lived near the salt belt. The trailblazer is sorts sentimental, so don't what I can to keep it alive. But for sure I made sure to fix the rust spots. Had 2 and had it professionally done. Lol I will try to weld, but the frame is something that I wasn't willing to tackle. I'm no mechanic by trade, but I do what I can to do things right and save some money lol
what about the compensater arm nut? i saw u drilling the bolt outta the nut. did u drill it all the way out? did u have to tap the nut again after drilling? did u just get a new slot nut? thanks for the video. given better idea what im messing with
Thank you for the comment!! I did have to drill out the bolt. I don't think I had to tap it though if the new bolt doesn't thread, you may have to tap it. My only probably was that the captive nut is welded and I broke the weld. The only way I could see fixing it was to cut the hole out and tack weld it back in place. The captive nut itself is still adjustable. I believe I just bought and new bolt. The captive nut was in good condition, just have to tack it back in its home haha hope that helps, but feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks again for the comment!!
I’m a rural mailman about to try this is on my 2005 Trailblazer with 207K miles. I’m trying the flexible cable and hoping it makes it easier. I can really do my own brakes, not much of an expert but here we go! 🤞🏻 Thanks so much for content to go off of!
Hoping you or someone sees this… my friend has the same Renegade as you in that hers also only has 1 vertical dial next to the fog light control (that is by the drivers left knee) She can’t get the dome lights to turn *on* at all… not using the switches by the lights themselves and not by fiddling with that single vertical dial… We aren’t sure if the previous owner removed the bulbs, removed a fuse or if there is some other wiring issue, but all the videos addressing this issue is with vehicles with ~two~ vertical dials, and it’s the one that she doesn’t have that seems to be the way to address the issue
