If Fiyero is the Scarecrow, why does Elphaba keep wanting to set her lover on fire?!!!! WIZARD OF OZ fans might know what I'm thinking of...... HOW ABOUT A LITTLE FIRE SCARECROW?!!!
Nah, they were whooping and hollering before the lights went out. They were enthralled which is the BEST. We should get back to respectful silence, aside from like laughter or the moments that really warrant a noisy response. People shouldn't be shouting or singing along at other times, which has been happening in many theaters lately!
Oh very cool! She just posted today that it's her anniversary of debuting on Broadway. One of these days I'll be booking a trip to NYC to see her as full time Glinda at the Gershwin and I can't wait.
I love their energy! ❤️❤️❤️ Although Olivia is a bit too high above the key… Others have already pointed this out in several other videos, but I only noticed it now.
@@spintaneousrazzle yeah, not sure what specifically that's about. I went with some friends who are classically trained and they both commented about how impressively on pitch she was through the whole thing.
the is actually the first tour recording ive seen that is actually shot wide enough to include the projection of Dorothy's farmhouse. i saw it back in may when it was in my state, and i loved the improved projection work.
When it floats out to her from off stage? There's a small metal plate near the top of the broom handle that attaches to a magnet on a clear fish line. It's super cool.
I have this one from 5/3 in Hartford already posted but I can post the one from 3/31 as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YH7qYxjNToQ.htmlfeature=shared

I haven't seen it on Broadway so I'm probably not the best to answer but from what I understand it's minimal changes. Of course the story, music, and costumes are all identical. There are just some minor differences in the way the stage works. And of course when you go now you'll have a different main cast than the one in my video. All 8 leads left the tour on 5/5.
Alright thanks so much the only differences I have heard of is that there are some Broadway trapdoors not on tour stages! Just a few tour questions is there still the time dragon clock, Glindas bubble, the thank goodness bridge, The wizards head
@@Ethannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn yes to all though the Thank Goodness bridge may be different. I've never seen how they do it on Broadway but the tour isn't a bridge so much as a platform that rolls on and off stage. I actually have Thank Goodness from another date (same cast) posted on my channel if you want to check it out.
I upgraded my phone to the newest iPhone just to make sure I had the best camera possible for this 😂. I was also in the front row almost dead center so I think that helped a lot.
@@jalon24 you made my day 💚 My only regret is the way the lights wash out the green makeup making it so hard to see Elphie's face. Olivia has great facial expressions and I wish I could've gotten them. Oh well, I'm thrilled with the rest of it so I guess that's definitely a positive.
@@quietgirl1565 poor thing was just on the edge of dropping from exhaustion but she made it to the end and was always amazing. One of the nights I saw her in Hartford she had food poisoning. She told me it was the hardest day of her life but you couldn't tell it from her performance. And then on that last day, that very last performance, she held nothing back. It was remarkable.
@@hannahtamblyn8799 sadly Olivia and Celia left the tour on May 5th in Hartford CT. Celia is the cover for NessaRose and Glinda on Broadway now (which is what she was doing before the tour) and Olivia is spending some time at home. She hasn't said yet what her next thing will be. Wicked is always amazing though so I'm sure you'll love it with the new cast. 💚
I don't know why I thought I had one for 5/3. It's from 3/31 in Austin. The extreme edges are cut off which is a bummer but I was in the front row so it was hard to get the whole stage. Anyway, here ya go 🙂... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HdeWFE7HJ3s.htmlsi=WGlHgGjveFZas-SY
