Thanks mate for the great video..I literally just did mine tonight after being told to do it by a fellow owner its benefits seem to be mostly that roar but every other so called benefits are bullshit no extra BHP or torque ...just wish full thinking 😂) but the extra beathing has to be good for the engine I think . I wouldn't recommend completely removing the vent as not only will the air mixture be way to much but your air filter will be Fubarred much quicker with bugs dust and general shit getting sucked in !!!
So mod update... its a total game changer after a ride to the coast today. It sounds f%*King awesome when you open the throttle and my brain tells me its torque is increased to !! Don't hesitate just do it !
The Z3 is driving a tractor compared to the Mazda. Heavy, all over the place and a very un pleasent feeling - I would never want to buy one...... And trust me it was actually my first choice......
Hello from PAris, thank you for the videos!!!. I have an Eprom problem on my 2001 Z3 with EEP-1 error, the needle on my oil gauge is no longer working and the fuel gauge and tachometer are not either. Can I use your method to display the oil and fuel gauge like you do for the speed display? THANKS!!

To fix the air filter issue, swap to a heavy breather. Change pipes over to big radius 2in2, tune. You now have a very comfortable very powerful 103 running as a 113. Big. Strong. Fast. Comfy. As agile as a HD chopper gets.
Just got mine after try k1 k3 and this k5s.k1 and k5s can tell almost same weight,k3 was heavier.k1 without doble visor and k5s with double visor,i choose k5s.
Thanks for a helpful video. One thing strikes me when you try to start the engine up at the end of the clip though. It's a brand new battery but the starter motor still seemed and sounded like it's struggling to crank it up.
Wish I’d never got this bike. Any basic thing is a mega job access to a battery should be easy enough you shouldn’t have to remove parts of the bodywork and the fuel tank to get to the battery! Typical of BmW trying to get people to go in to them and spend a fortune on something which you should be able to do easily at home
Now imagine get an emergency on a travel when you only need to transfer energy to only turn on the bike, and for some asshole engineer youre in a big trouble.
