@@Doomplayer14 I'm definitely going to do a UN clear as soon as possible. I first played DOOM 2016 in 2017. I wasn't really good back then on controller so it took a while to reach the skill level required.

Don't you think that Doom Eternal is better optimized on the controller than Doom 2016? wheel appearance delay, ability to put weapons on the keys, etc.

I'm on Xbox and happy that everyone will be able to enjoy it.

To propel yourself with the glauss cannon, like to jump on the baron's head, or tilt backwards, do you press shoot or do you shoot and jump at the same time?
X to jump, circle for grenade, triangle for flamethrower, square for melee, R1 for weapon wheel/switch, R2 to shoot, L1 for dash, L2 for weapon mod, up for weapon mod switch, left for grenade switch, down for Heavy Assault Rifle, right for Super Shotgun L3 for Ballista, R3 for chainsaw.
@@ArchRevival I asked you this because you are a role model for me. I'm trying to beat the ultra nightmare on console. I know that in the settings you can change the keys in tactical mode, lateral mode etc on the 2016 game. on eternal there are more possibilities for change.

hello arch. I have always admired your work, it's been 2 weeks since I tried the Ultra Nightmare on Doom Eternal and that of its older brother. I keep dying on the second and third level, it's hard. hence my question: which game is the hardest (on the controller, I'm on console too) doom eternal or doom2016?? I love the 2 games I finished them in nightmare but in ultra I have difficulty.

Finally got aound to watching this. Excellent gameplay as usual. Beating this without the hammer on UN is impressive... I have a couple of questions: Any particular reason why you used only SDR in this video? Will you upload any Horde Mode?
@@ArchRevival oh sorry I meant SDR as opposed to a HDR video, not the runes lol. Oh cool. Well whatever FPS content you put out next I'll be sure to tune in 👍 I agree regarding Savagery. It feels nice getting armour from certain glory kills is cool but yeah, I stopped using it also.
@@purebaldness When I play Doom Eternal I have HDR on, but sometimes it doesn't want to process into the video it seems. I've recieved several comments mentioning that my videos looked orange on the ones that have HDR so perhaps it's better if it's not HDR.
@@ArchRevival Ahh ok, fair enough. Yeah I mean HDR gameplay on SDR screens look pretty bad. Having recently got an OLED TV, I finally see HDR gameplay for what it is and it's glorious. Personally, if I uploaded gameplay, I'd also keep it SDR for the sake of consistency.
I noticed this too. It took me a couple of replays of the level in order figure out that was the cyberdemon since he’d always be off camera in order for me to get a good look at him. Definitely one of my favorite moments
yo arch how much do you put on the smoothing of the axis on doom eternal and doom 2016? I just realized that by lowering it, even to zero, we are much faster on the right joystick and I obtain the same precision as with a mouse on a PC 😆 I wasted time for 2 years that I I have the games 😆
@@ArchRevival ok by default it is 100. at least on console. I wasted 2 years being like that. It was while browsing forums that I saw that it had to be lowered. what an idiot. so you set it to 0???
@@ArchRevival So you set it to 0 the smoothing ? By default It's 100 on console. do you think aim assist is useful? I know you deactivate it, but for an occasional player like me does it help?
@@ArchRevival thank you arch I will try. that said, does the aim lock on enemies when you activate the aid? I ask the question because as Doom is a frenetic game it's hard to see it 😆
