Interesting how gentle elephants are when they are not chained up and forced to give rides. I'm so glad this practice is going away. (I'm sure ellies are too)

The elephants look stressed at times. Ears back is not a happy stance. I am glad no one was riding elephants and they weren’t chained but happy elephants flap their ears. This place is better then an elephant show or riding camp but to see truly happy elephants look at Elephant Nature park.
Unbelievable how much sand has been dumped against the Gare in my lifetime. The water used to be upto the Gare with no sand. There would be steps buried on the side of the Gare now.
So my wife and I were looking for a video to show our daughter elephants this morning. We typed in elephants at home, chiang mai, since that's where we saw them. Then I said, "hmm she looks familiar", then "omg that's you Alya!" It was really cool to show our daughter the exact elephants we saw! This was such an awesome excursion, glad you guys made a great video out of it! Hope you're well, Alya and Ian.

Thnx for posting a fantastic video of Redcars hidden gem, Some of my best memories come from the gare and boat fishing from paddys hole . Will have to pay it a visit sooner rather than later..
