Van you make a video of the typical websites you know about that sell different types of perms for inserts. Also a shop that sell all the equipment because i want to make the insert myself. But need some equipment for that ❤
This was the best explanation of the GTD system. I was getting overwhelmed watching other content creators videos 😂 You thoroughly explained the process of adding to your weekly and daily. This was the part of the process I wanted to know. God Bless
Wow, I had never heard of Papertess planners; thanks for the intro! Defo like the layout and may order this vs. the Aura Estelle; we'll see. What do you call the pretty gold separator you have? I would love to buy something like that.
Thank you so so much for this video (and the other one you’ve uploaded explaining the GTD-method). I’m new to ring planners & inserts & just got my first Moterm personal rings planner & am in the process of setting it up. I found your videos on here & relly like the style of them. Now I want to buy a loooot of them since they seem so functional & neat looking too. 😅🙈
Just found your channel today and subscribed. I discovered PaperTessDesigns a few months ago after this planner sold out, and the Standard TN version too, but I desperately want the 2024 version to use as my work planner, even if the shipping costs as much as the planner. Having the weeks/days lumped together makes so much sense in my opinion. I have a Sterling Iink B6 Common Planner and love it, so thank you for comparing the two, I really appreciate it!
Thank you! No one has made a step by step video that I could follow with confidence. My last printer jammed, but thanks to you it came out perfect this time!😊
Well this was a very bad idea. I've been looking for a planner and inserts that will work for me. I could barely concentrate on anything but that gorgeous planner. So now I'm obsessed and no planner will EVER be enough . 🫣🫤. But I'm very glad I found you, the pre-cut pages are a great idea. ty
I just ran across your video & so glad I did! I had not heard of the PaperTess Planner and I love the layout!!! I’m currently in the Common Planner & though it’s working, I like the weekly layout (similar to the Hobonichi Weeks) of the PaperTess … now I’m debating… do I ditch the Common Planner since it’s only January …. Decisions - decisions! 🤔
This video just popped into my feed tonight as I have been searching for a B6 planner to use as my doctor/symptom/health journal after finding the Common Planner and Aura Estelle and both of them being out of stock. The Papertessdesigns looks perfect and then I looked at the shipping to get it to me. It looks like an awesome option if I was on the same side of the pond. Ugh. Too many medical appointments and the disability tax is adding up already so I can't spend the extra on the shipping right now. I can't wait to see which one you decide to use.
Love your set up so much better than the current one I’m using now! I was looking at your website at the bundle, but does it not include the cover page shown on timestamp 4:01? That is the one thing I REALLY LIKE about your system is the explanation on that GTD Cover Page. Is there a way to include that with the bundle 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🫶🏼 Thanks so much!
This planner in A5 size would be my perfect planner. But I just ordered it because this will combine my cousin and weeks in one. I’m trying to use the Sterling ink for journaling but I’m not good with multiple planners. I think this will be a great all in one planner for me this year. Hoping she offers an A5 option next year so I have more room to do a tiny bit out journaling at the bottom of each daily.
Love love love the paper tess planner! Yay vertical weekley and daily's following the corresponding month! And I like the blank pages after the monthly for monthly tasks or a brain dump or a budget. Cant wait to get this!!!! Thank you for sharing this!!
I like this in theory - putting 7 blank pages for dailies right behind the week with all the weeks with its corresponding month. But in practice, I don’t know if I would love it. I don’t always use a whole page for a whole day. In fact, there are some weeks where I can probably put a whole week on two pages because I don’t have much extra notes or anything that should take up extra room. So what would I do with those extra pages between weeks that don’t get used? They’d either stay blank or I would have to go back and find a blank page to write in if I needed more. It’s the same reason I can’t use the Hobonichi cousin - I don’t write much (if anything) over the weekend, so those pages just end up blank. I love the Sterling ink common planner’s design except for the vertical weekly. I just do better in a Hobonichi weeks-style layout. I’m still trying to figure out how to make the weekly work for me. I did end up buying an Aura Estelle essential planner, but I do so poorly in multiple books, plus, then I’ll end up having a bunch of empty weekly pages on the Sterling ink planner. Chaos. 😅
The grid on the SI weekly is light enough that you could technically turn the weekly layout into a Hobonichi-style one (Catherine herself has done that a couple of times based on her flipthrough), but that's a lot of correction tape and stickering work...
@@actuallyfrankie True… but… Then I might as well buy a regular notebook and draw everything in myself. If I buy a planner and have to draw the weekly every single week, what was the point of buying a pre-printed planner? 😂
@@CsprsSassyHrly Also true. 😅 I guess at least on the weeks you don't feel like drawing anything you have something to fall back on? To each their own. I totally get liking the Weeks format though.
I’m using the powersheets goal planner for the goals mostly prework, the take a note in A6 for journaling ( as the hobo A5 cousin was huge and never filled it), the hobo weeks as EDC mostly for personal/ family things and for work kinbor A6 half a year together with a hobo notebook in A6 for notes… first time trying such a small size so we will see. I also wanted the common planner and cancelled the order at the end otherwise I would never use them all.
That’s why I love Wonderland222 is - the months and weeks together. I’m using the Common Planner also in 2023 but that’s the one thing that doesn’t make it my perfect perfect perfect planner.
I wonder if you place the hourly washi on the left side of the page one day and then the right the next, if alternating them like that would help? Great comparison, I have both too! I didn’t see a problem with the shipping because I know others across the pond have to pay customs and high shipping as well, and they support all the small businesses over here. Plus I think Tess is amazing and I was happy to support her! I’m torn now too which one to use, I love Catherine’s and Tess’, I do love the format of Tess’ more, but I love Catherine’s goal planning 😅
That’s a really good point about the shipping! I think alternating the washi would help but would still make bumps after a while. Maybe I could remove the washi on old spreads if it gets too bad?
Omg I knew I should’ve watched this video, now I want Paper Tess!! Thanks a lot Amanda 😂 I already have the cousin and common planner. I don’t know what to do 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I think I’m going to sell cousin and get Paper Tess. Great video
haha I'm so sorry. I'm such an enabler! It's so hard to choose, but I don't think I could go back to the Cousin now after seeing how clean the design is in these two planners!
I've never heard of the Take a Note. What a lovely planner. Do you think they will ever make anymore available in the US? I too am struggling with my planner choice for 2023. B6 too small, wish Catherine made it in an A5. I'm going to try the H&O weekly as my first choice.
I think they do sell the Take A Note planners at some stores in the US but I’m not sure if any of them still have stock. I’d recommend joining the Take A Note Facebook group if you’re interested in finding it!
I am using Sterling Ink's B6. Love the Goals Breakdown and Quarterly pages... and the undated pages at the back, I can use them as bujo collection pages/trackers and the rest will be dailies, bujo style so I can scratch my itch to have a "versatile" planner without going to disc/ring bound! All the best to you! xx
I know why you can't chose one! Because you have too many of them! I can help you! You could send me all but one and this will be over! You will use the one that you would leave to use! ❤ P. S. If you still can't chose, I would leave the powersheet, it's cute and blue!
Old video but I’m just getting into the method. I’m confused about how to implement the project lists and tasks. Are we supposed to use the project list separately from the next action list? Or add the smaller bits from the project list to the next action list? I’m so confused! Ps I found your inserts via plan with bee video. I haven’t bought them “yet” but it is on my next action list 😂
I don’t know why I put this here but I saw someone on instagram do it so I did it 😂😂😂😂” Girl I was in the community since 2015 and yes it’s def become more of a arts and crafts then anything lol
I would love to use to get more into GTD, however I am having issues just taking the steps to start it. I am also a broke perfectionist, and need to find a way to track this. I would love do a tickler file like I had when I worked in the states. However, filing boxes, hanging files, etc, is not readily available or used much in Denmark. They seem to put everything into binders. I do not want to lug around a binder. So I am trying to draw out something in a grid notebook I have lying around not being used. I spent all my money on Hobonichi calendars and covers, and well inserts do not work with bound books much. I do not want to print onto sticker paper and insert it into my calendar. I may at the beginning of the month give up on drawing things because I cannot get it started because of perfectionism and just order something off Etsy and make my own small bound book. We will see.
