Well obviously I’m subscribing this guy was my favorite on the History Detectives PS all though you probably don’t like just being known as the History Detective guy
Got here looking for that History Detectives episode. This man's grace and passion make me want to travel 2,000 miles to see his lectures. Thank you for this amazing post.
and the truth Dr. Zuberi speaks on here, is why this beastly president has erupted with the spew of vomit coated words about ending the lottery visa program
The Irony here is that a "black body", (Crispus Attcuks) was colored "white" in a propaganda pamphlet by Paul Revere, among others after the Boston Massacre. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Massacre#/media/File:Boston_Massacre_high-res.jpg
I love this so much we really must tell our story for ourselves and let all Africans and all races see us for who we are not for what they want us to be. Oduduwa Agbara Ase..!! :)
What I found i interesting was the fact that many characterized him as "revolutionary". My perception of Du Bois was more inclined towards a influential scholar. The fact that he was able to develop new methodologies through convergence and his initiative to become the founder of many fields makes his intellectual capacity definite. However, it wasn't until I saw the video that I was able to view him a scholar who challenged preconceived notions about society and thus pioneered a revolution (in methodology and the race discourse) that is still relevant today.
woah, very important piece of video, but the editor of this video did a very bad job, why play around with the content. it didnt project the excellence that the said WEB Dubois was know to have lived by
Thank you Dr. Zuberi for continuing to raise the visability of Dr. Du Bois's work and for bringing together invested folks for an engaging discussion. ~ Dr. Evans
