It's all so staged. Does anyone ever wonder how it's possible only the 'chosen' people (like Roy, Ursula etc) buy storages and never one of the others standing there? They're bidding but they never get it...
Rarely hear Canadians speak or react as these do, except when watching hockey or the Blue Jays. Just checked with Google and they do live in Canada but are they putting on an act. How can a person with so much supposed experience "mistake" a pipe stand for a humidor when it has the "pipe bowls" in the stand and the places where the stems are held upright? The first winery to commercially produce ice wine in Canada was Inneskilling near Niagara. Turned it off as not very good.
+Teo Jordan I would because with a little TLC those items sell really well. I live in North Carolina an i spend some weekends driving to yard sales an markets for items like this. I think the best i ever did was a weekend where i spent 375 an made back around 2 grand an for me an my wife it is just a hobby. We also have tons of great items we kept for our house like chest an cabinets just a lot of nice items that just needed a little love.
Crap, and a huge waste of TV time. The American version is bad enough, but this Canadian copy is even lamer. Oh look, the American version has a teenager named "Brando" and this version has one named "Bogart"...wow. The "pricing" is laughable, and the characters are ridiculous. These aren't real people anyway; they're all actors, playing stupid roles, and most of them can't even act.
The most unlikeable bunch of mental midgets.... Roy the Moron, the 2 crackheads, the pathetic wimpy simpleton son and dumb as a bag of rocks dad...etc.
I think Canada just lost some of its national pride. God damn, the world looses Mark Balelo and we gain this shitty show instead. Bogart and his dad are kinda cool though. The mother and son team of Cindy and Rick have a fake toughness complex who cant even drive themselves anywhere. Roy is an arrogant jerk and Ursula is definitely no "knock out." Her sister with big boobs should take her spot on the show.
