I have just one Silverchair video up at the moment, but nearly all the ones I know of are already on RU-vid, and a quick search can bring many up. Also, my video has some links within for this Australian band.
One of many other musical loves is the band Phish, spanning from the pre-hiatus era, to the "2.0" & current "3.0" tours as well.
If I'd known the way my channel would develop when I first joined RU-vid, my username would definitely be more "phishy" - but that's OK. At the time, I didn't yet have the software to convert my videos to MPEG/AVI, and then edit. In May '07 I began uploading a few videos from the pre-hiatus era, and after right away receiving many positive responses & messages of encouragement, I just kept going. The channel quickly became dedicated to Phish as one video led to another - amazing how they've added up over time.
Enjoy the videos, I welcome any comments and feedback.
First time I heard this back in 93,sitting in a friend's room hitting his skull bong and tripping to his equalizer watching the lights bouncing up and down. This song never fails to take me back to that night in Berlin.
If I were at this show, I would have maybe had a seizure when they fully dropped into Weekapaug. The excitement when Trey started teasing the riff, and then Mike starts the bass line, must have been palpable. But once Fish starts THE Weekapaug drumbeat, that’s when I might have fainted or something lol. Just so great.
What an incredible jam!!! I got this pumping through my band’s PA system that we keep here in my spare bedroom. Pulled the speakers out into the living room. Blinds closed. Black lights on. Spliff lit and burning nicely. Thank you so kindly for sharing this!! Subscribed!!
Easily one of the greatest moments in rock & roll. This is a moment that seems it was written in a fictional novel, but it happened. Magic is real, just believe!
At about 8:25, there's about 10 seconds worth of lighting work from Kuroda that makes me think Gozer the Gozerian is about to make an appearance in there. It didn't occur to me that night in the arena, but it does now every time I watch this back.
