@@FilipedeBarrosDance My WCS is going back to fundamentals and making improvements right now to those. 2 x Events over the next 4 weeks though, so I'm excited to learn from some amazing teachers. Hope you're well and enjoying WCS as always :)
So, why don't leaders do this footwork? Why are 90% of them just walking around on a straight count without ANY triple steps. Especially at the higher levels. How does a leader get to All Star when he does not do a single triple step in the entire song? Why at all levels do leaders advance to finals when they are flat footed walking around, or often not even walking but standing in 1 spot?
@@FilipedeBarrosDance You're welcome, it's so nice to share with us your dances. I had been in Spain for five days to have Wcs lessons in Mai next to Barcelona and in June it was "Mr Swing Festival" next to my home (France, Lyon) where we learned more patterns on WCS. This year I take more Wcs lessons to improve in Parties this dance. But I'm learning Bachata, Salsa, kizomba, rock ...
@FilipedeBarrosDance Think I'm doing fine. I absolutely love it. I'm learning leader and follower. Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to dance with good leaders and/or followers a lot. In the other hand, the journey itself is way more fun than getting crazy good in the shortest amount of time 😊 My husband also started dancing, and he also loves it.
Yes, these events can give so much h inspiration! Perhaps there’s some near you that you could go to 😃 Great idea about the biography! I did a video about 3 years ago with a bit of my bio - feel free to give it a watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1MX7aDSCC6E.htmlsi=1KQ_DmoKbyP26V30 😀 I might make a new version!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for your prayer - I appreciate it ☺️ I thankfully know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour!! 🥰 I posted a video on Saturday dancing to a beautiful song called Psalm 21 by Jonathan Ogden 😊 I’m planning on posting the full version this week 😃
Thank you it was useful i like the new idea of pre starter step i pick up which is super cool i need to apply to dance to look great without rushing to start the dance in the timing
@@FilipedeBarrosDance ok but sometime i feel i issue , fall behind or not on time in my send out because i feel i not connect to the music in the beginning of the dance which is the pre starter step moment than into the send out for the pattern
@gordonlu2660 Hi Gordon! It might help to focus on starting the send out on a downbeat (the 1, 3, 5 or 7 of the music) ☺️ You could focus on specifically starting the send out on 1 😊
