Baker I feel like is the guy everyone is rooting for, except Panthers, Falcons and Saints fan. Like happy for his success unless he’s playing your team. One of the best stories recently and resonates with a lot of people
Let's Fukkn Bake! Go Bakerneers! Boomer Sooner! I am a lifelong Sooner fan living in Austin! I wore my OU hat to UT after we whipped their azz in Red River a couple times😂
Kinda crazy how similar Baker’s situation leaving Texas Tech was to his situation with Cleveland. Plays well for a bad team, brings them success, gets hurt expecting to be the starter when he’s healthy again, and shown the door both times. He sure managed to turn the Texas tech experience around at Oklahoma, so I’d bet he’s ready to do the same with Tampa!
You guys should rework the title and thumbnail. Thumbnail should have a picture of the guest as opposed to just you two. Episode number should also move to the end of the title name. Just some tips to help drive up the views! Example title- Baker Mayfield Talks Football (Casa De Klub #011)
Like 2 hrs ago on ESPN, Shannon Sharpe had the *Bucs* as his #4 team & Stephen A. had them at #5 in their _Top Teams in the NFL_ segment. Both also said Baker is playing like a top 5 QB right now. The "Bake-aneers" are _finally_ getting some respect.
So cool watching Baker interview. A very natural guy. Been following his career since he came off the bench and brought the Browns back to beat the Jets in 2018. A dangerous quarterback and a winner.
Brady was obviously one of the best ever, but it's very true that players did not enjoy playing with him. They enjoyed the success but he took the fun out of the game.
He never said players did not enjoy playing with him. He had great relationships with the team. his last year was not the best, but to say they did not enjoy playing with him is crazy. I'm an actual Bucs fans and not some Baker stan from OK who just started watching the team
So how you know that you play for the buccaneers who told you that stop talking man I know what you be talking about you just run your damn mouth they enjoyed play with Tom Brady who is your damn team anyway😂👍🏾
@@kandispointer2362and that guy I like you play with the buccaneers who are you talking he said the guy didn't want to play with Tom he ain't no book fair he just a damn bandwagoner I told him to get his fact together play all like playing with Tom
Thanks for this podcast. I gravitated to mlb within last 10 years. Was NFL guy all my life. So I understand both. I’d love to c shows about some of the most historic at bats & what the specific batter or preferably pitchers at bat was thinking. Cory after I watched u game 1 in the WS against the Cubs I feared u since then. Love to have that game chronicled in an episode. Mirror like when the nfl chronicles a team SB season. Make it dramatic. Imagine mlb having like 30 for 30 shows about pivotal aspects of mlb rather controversial or a super team. Love to c a game or series narrated by the players.
Arraez keeps getting traded because he is nearly unplayable at 2B (his best defensive position) and not many people want to waste a DH spot on a low power slapped hitting high BA on base percentage guy. But the padres have like 15 SS so it kinda works out for them.
I was at Chipper's last game, the Infield Fly Rule Game. As much as I hate how that season ended, and as much as I hate that's how Chipper's career ended, he's 100% right. There were PLENTLY of other reasons that they lost that game, and the Braves--tale as old as time--didn't capitalize. But I was somewhat glad I was witness to Chipper Jones' last MLB hit 🙂
i’m sorry but that arizona kid isn’t to bright lol. Idk why he brought up gywnn when they’re speaking of the era rn. Ofc tony would get praise then because the game was different and more fundamental
Not being mean but just because you weren’t born when something happened isn’t an excuse for not knowing it… We’ve never had more info available to use and even when I was young I read as many books on baseball and it’s history as I could
