Gardening Thyme is a vlog about my personal garden and landscape journey. I share videos about what I am currently growing in our vegetable garden and landscape, as well as a few hardscape projects. I live in zone 5a in Northern Illinois on just under 2 acres of land. Originally from Florida, my husband and I purchased this property in 2011. At the time of purchase the only things in the yard were some trees, over-grown shrubs and some weedy grass. I started this vlog mainly because I wanted to inspire others who share my passion for gardening but have limited resources and time. I share information on flowers, trees, shrubs, fruits and vegetables, as well as full sun to full shade gardens, hardscape ideas, and tips and tricks I've learned in the 10+ years of living here.
