I am new to the laser world. Can you show how you do the cardboard? Also the slice thing. I need extra income. My husband got hurt on the job and broke his neck. He can walk thank god. Unfortunately, he cant stand much. So $$ is tight.
Every time shut down I loose the calibration. I updated LB and I pressed the save settings. Nothing pops up i assumed it was saved. I can't find it as a saved file. I'm using Mira 7. I'm wondering if you know what I'm doing wrong. I LOVE the camera, especially for odd shaped items and scrape. It works!
What are your settings for this engraving? Anytime I try this, there are lines in the engraving and the lacquer fills so much of the void (even with a very light spray) that the paint cannot fill in all the art. Are you deeper engraving when painting? Thanks!
Beautiful work.. Just need to perfect your painting technique Painting on wood is difficult to get smooth. Takes multiple coats of primer and a lot of sanding. I would have used an automotive paint with a clear coat on top.
Big congrats 🎉.. Looking gorgeous too momma... I've been watching your vids as I started my own laser journey here in Nigeria last year, so admirable and inspiring.
Hi Emily, what do you mean when you say you're selecting the origin? Also, am I connecting the lightbridge only from my phone? I might need some coffee to understand it all. LOL
I ask this, not to be critical, but to get a better understanding. Why would the cutting side of a board be engraved? Wouldn't that make it non-utilitarian? Or is this strictly for decorative purposes, if there are people who decorate their kitchen with a cutting board? I just ordered my first cutting board blanks, and I would have thought to engrave the backside, so it could be decorative, yet still used as a cutting board. Help, anyone?
Hello! I have been watching for a while now. I saw one of your videos where you sand between coatings. Why did you not in this case? Is it because it's different with chalk paint? Thanks!
Let’s hope this video doesn’t just keep repeating itself and actually gives us useful information. Or is it going to at the end not tell us anything and then ask us to pay for some class
Love the video. Did something very similar recently but painted with spray paint. How are you findig the Aeon Laser? I recently got the Mira5 S and must say it's a fantastic machine so far.
I had a large project where I had to do the exact same thing. The only thing I did different was measure the boxes instead of marking by hand. Super stressful job! Also, I have found using a smaller squirt bottle with watered down paint works great instead of the brush on method.
