I am an audio-visual/multimedia enthusiast, technology specialist and educator currently residing in Hong Kong, China. Currently the Head of ICT & Campus Media at Law Ting Pong Secondary School (LTPSS), President of the Island School Alumni Association (ISAA) and a Boclips content creator/provider.
Arduino-based programming, teaching, learning and creative video-editing are my major hobbies and passions, and I love to serve in these capacities. Hello there, thank you for the great video. I could only get it partially working and I wanted to ask for some help. When I type AT, it will send the OK message but when I try anything else it says error{0} My baud rate is set to 38400 and instead of setting a pin to high I just plug EN into 5V which is within the range for my HC05. Any Idea why this is happening?
This was a great video to help my unboxing and setup of a LaCie 2big Dock Thunderbolt 3 RAID storage drive, thank you! I will share some of my experience as someone who is not very computer savvy in case others find their way to this page and are in the same boat. 1. If the blue light on the front of the device is not illuminating, and the computer is not reading the drive- be sure you are using a Thunderbolt 3 cable. Using other cables will not allow the device to connect appropriately, and this was a quick and easy fix by swapping out the cable. 2. Use ChatGPT for the setup process, unfortunately my lack of computer knowledge placed me at a disadvantage for understanding how to respond to some of the prompts. ChatGPT explained step by step how to navigate some of the issues I encountered, and also helped me decide if I wanted a RAID 1 or RAID 0 configuration based on my needs - it worked like a champ!
If it doesn't work for you: 1. Make sure the HC-05 slow blinks, if it slow blinks, remove the pins and then insert the pins on the hc05 whilst holding the button 2. Make sure to use commands like: AT+COMMAND? the ? is very important
Working! I had problem with answering my commands but i reset it by unpluging from GND and plugin it back while holding little black button on HC-05 and after that it was answering to my commands. Thanks.
Can someone help? It just sends me this:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx EDIT: I tried different Serial and now it says: ready, but still does not respond to my AT comands
I had a few questions is the esp 32 communicating through wifi connection or it is connected to wifi which is communicating to cloud and you are accessing it from ther ??
The Mblock code link is not working. After downloading the code it says " The devices or extensions necessary for this project are not published yet, so the project fails to work as intended." Please help what to do next. I also tried the Arduino IDE link and uploaded the code in Arduino Uno board too. But nothing is working. Where am i mistaking?
The HC-06 needs to work at 3.3V or you could fry it. I think the HC-05 can handle 5V but I've been cautious and running at 3.3V. The Arduino board has a regulator that steps down from the 5V from USB to 3.3V if needed.
